  1. Hmmm. I'm skeptical. Doesn't really seem that good. Hopefully it'll be more like DD in terms of quality.
  2. Just announced with a CGI trailer. Coming 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
  3. Getting 3 stars in every cup on 200cc is the only thing that unlocks something.
  4. MK8 is the only MK-game on Switch. They will release DLC for it instead during the Switch's life. There is no reason to do it otherwise. It's cheaper for Nintendo, MK8 is already there and is selling bucketloads and they would need to implement something new in order to warrant an upgrade to MK9. So I don't think we'll see any new MK on Switch - just new stages and characters.
  5. Also some pictures from the DLC: And Hero's Path in action:
  6. Might have to try the Puyo Puyo lessons then. I suck at the single-player Puyo-only challenges. Can't ever set up more than a two-three-chain by myself (though big bang with Puyo is much more fun than with Tetris).
  7. Actually, it's not that weird. Kimishima gave a talk at the investor's meeting this night and said: http://nintendoeverything.com/kimishima-says-3ds-and-switch-wont-compete-will-run-in-parallel-3ds-will-get-unique-software/ http://nintendoeverything.com/kimishima-on-evergreen-3ds-titles-new-games-will-continue-to-be-released/ It is indeed their intention that 3DS and Switch will run alongside each other.
  8. Out July 28th in Europe Images: Specs:
  9. Why? I have 60 shrines left - that's 15 hearts, not including the ones I get for defeating the bosses in the divine beasts. So unless you can get much more than 20 hearts (breaking the formula, Aonuma!) then I get enough hearts. Otherwise I can just visit the statue in Hateno Village to remap my Spirit Orbs if I understood that statue correctly.
  10. Alolan Pokémon have been added, both though a lot of special stages as well as through 30 new Main Stages.
  11. In short, yes, I did. :P Upgraded enough hearts to not get one-shot by normal enemies, and then I hated not being able to scale certain mountains without eating a lot of stamina-food. Cooking is boring. And since my goal is to get all Shrines anyway, I will get fuil stamina and full hearts at some point so I just upgraded stamina to be able to move around freely. The upgrade from 2 to 3 wheels didn't feel as needed, though.
  12. My progress: ~45 hours, 60 shrines, 9 hearts, 3 full stamina wheels, 1 divine beast, 101 korok seeds, 5 memories, most of the map unlocked. Currently getting some more hearts before attempting the camel, since its boss is supposed to be hard. I've found 2 great fairies and one horse god "fairy".
  13. Good to hear. How long did it take you to reach 99 %?
  14. Of course, but they could have added more or cleverer enemies, added some secrets or something else entirely while still keeping the original game.
  15. So - is the game still good? I really want this as I loved the original when I was a kid (though I never completed it). But looking at it now, it looks a bit easy and straightforward. It appears that the only really good thing about this update is the visuals and sound, the rest is not updated at all.
  16. Isn't it rotating who gets the best spot each year? Last year it was Europe, I think, then this year it's US and then next year it's Japan. Or some other order but that's the principle, I guess.
  17. Hopefully a release date for Yooka-Laylee will be announced. I believe we will get ARMS & Splatoon 2 release dates and another indie reel. That's it.
  18. "A friend from work" had me cracked up! The enthusiasm was great! Hopefully this is better than Thor 2 but it looks quite decent.
  19. I think I set a new record in deadlift yesterday. We did 7x4 and I went 110-120-120-125-125-130-130 and I realised afterwards that according to FitNotes, I have actually never done 4 deadlift with more than 120 kg. I was aiming at 136 as that's twice my bodyweight but I could feel that my back wouldn't be able to hold the weight so stopped before. Other than that, I haven't been lifting much over the past six months as I have focused more on cardio and lighter weights for cardio and then more olympic lifts - like clean, jerk and snatch.
  20. Haha, yeah. I've noticed my motivation for reading articles has dropped significantly since getting Zelda! But well. I'll just do it during working hours - reading, not playing Zelda (my work pays for my master so they also give me some hours to do it).
  21. Had a go at the demo of this with my wife when I first got the Switch last week - it was VERY enjoyable although taxing. The basketball level really had us - trying to coordinate it was quite hard when she's not used to gaming as such but we got through it. Will definitely get the full game and play it with her.
