Just watched the first and so far only episode of Taboo. That was intense, extremely beautiful and interesting. If they keep this production value and level of mystery, this will be a good ride through winter! Highly recommended.

It's been announced that the presentation will be about an hour long.

Anyhow.... I think it's a good price, about the same as Wii U if I'm not mistaken, and the date is perfect - the day after my 30th birthday. So if true then I'm happy. If it's later, no problem either.

There was something odd about the episode, not bad, just a bit unlike the other episodes in the show. Perhaps the filming or sound was different, or the theme of the episode.

It's not surprising but I had my hopes up for it when EA announced that they will support Switch. Now it''ll probably be like Wii U all over - send bad games / old games out on the market that don't sell and then stop because EA games don't sell on Switch.

I'm intrigued by The OA - it sounds interesting but also very much like The 4400 but with just 1. Don't know if that is enough for me, I quite liked the concept of The 4400, the execution was just bad after season 2 or 3.

Regarding VC, everything that is available on Wii U should by default be made available on Switch at launch or at least in the launch window. It's not going to happen but that's the only logical thing to do.

It's really a shame since it has some interesting twists and points but it just doesn't execute them that well.

Seems that I'm missing a couple in the Crisis-series. I only have Crisis on Infinite Earths and Identity Crisis lying around, waiting to be read. For Christmas I got Green Arrow Deluxe by Jeff Lemire. It looks really good so looking forward to reading it! I have, however, some backlog I need to get through first - started by reading Shadowland (this one: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Shadowland) the other day and it was weird. It started out good but finished way too quick and I have NO idea how that particular album fits into the general Shadowland-story and how the other album I've got lying around fits into it. It got a bit too supernatural as well - if that's possible in super heroes comic books.

I have mixed feelings as well, there something not quite right with the game. Beat the fifth level just now and it's just... very plain all over. Unfortunately as I adored Pirate's Curse.

I have no idea to which type of flooring you need but I suggest putting something between the concrete and the rubber to isolate and keep the cold off the floor in the winter. Otherwise I imagine it'll be really cold. --- On another note, I have logged 181 workouts throughout the year, varying between crossfit WODs, outdoor running and weight lifting. That's every second day which is pleasing.

Anyone seen Dirk Gently? Saw the trailer and really liked the tone of it but I'm not certain it might be worth watching.

Just downloaded it this morning, really eager to play but alas, I have so much to do before tonight that I cannot get to play it. Tomorrow it is, then!

Looks really beautiful but it's a major buzzkill that this is not from the Switch version at all, and given the recent rumours about its performance, would it even be able to render the game like this?? God damnit, Nintendo, show us the games for it!

I think selling each world at its own price, say £1 and then giving the players an option to buy all worlds up front for say £4 would have worked much better and not given such a backlash. I think paying for the game is fine, I just think it's too expensive given the platform, the audience and the competition on said platform. Again, look at Rayman Fiesta Run. Completely free, tons to do, high quality, and Rayman, a known IP.

I haven't bought the game and will probably wait for a discount before dipping in. I had fun but honestly, I would never consider buying it if it wasn't Mario. Consider the Rayman-games - they are completely free and offer extremely much content and much, much more than Super Mario Run and are even really good. Why should people not expect Super Mario Run to be free then? I think people wouldn't complain as much if they had the option to actually play it for free but be either limited to x minutes a day or 5 lives or some other limit that they could circumvent by buying the game.

Finished catching all the legendaries today and with that, I'm done with the game, though I'm only at 40-something % done with filling the Pokédex. I just can't be bothered finding all those critters that I'm not going to use anyway. One could argue that I still have to do the Battle Tree and that I might return to but for now, I think I need a break. Good game, though, really among the best Pokémon-games ever.

Has this been definitely re-confirmed for Switch or not?

Didn't have a problem playing it but I played it at home with fast wi-fi. After the first intro-level it started downloading something but after that it hasn't visibly used data. THe dark green coins are going to be a pain to collect!

Why not just like.. release the trailer instead? Sigh. Looks pretty, though.
