Scarlett Johanson in body paint? Yes please! Oh. THe movie looks interesting. Don't know the background material but it looks good.

Don't you think the Pokémon and direction of the game was created before Pokémon Go was even a thing? And now they are just advertising using Pokémon Go as a lever, which makes perfect sense. Remember that there are only a handful of Alolan Pokémon and they might release more from gen 2-6 later on.

US Presidential Election 2016 - Nightmare Mode
MindFreak replied to gaggle64's topic in General Chit Chat
2016 will go down in history as the year where everything went wrong. Read that as well. I find it hilarious. In a tragic way, though. -
I'm watching Westworld and Black Mirror (for the first time) at the moment - will this be too much for now? It looks intriguing.

Yeah, I have talked about that to her. Money isn't really that much of a problem and I'll gladly pour some in that direction, but she said no to getting a PT because she wants someone to go with her that she knows. A friend of hers has also had some bad experiences with a PT which further discourages her. But I'll try to see if I can help her find someone good.

I have quite the dilemma regarding fitness. I'm very happy with my current gym, go there 4 times a week to attend classes and sometimes just training by myself. It's a dedicated crossfit gym meaning that the environment is raw but people going there are engaged in their fitness. It's a, to me, pleasant place to be, people are generally minding their own business, and the teachers are nice and helpful. It's a bit expensive but that's no problem to me. The classes have a max of 15 people so they are rather small groups. My wife does not like it there. Or in the other, commercial gyms around us for that matter. She has anxiety issues with gyms, going way back to school where she was a bit bigger than many and feared the mandatory gym classes there. Now she has decided to try again with a new gym, smaller with smaller classes, private, more expensive but with a swimming pool (she enjoys swimming, I do not). They have no high intensity classes and their free weights area is very limited - almost everything is done in machines. This is probably a good place for her but the problem is: She wants me to go with her for a long period of time (>6 months) so she can get to a point where she feels safe to go by herself. She needs a training buddy and has decided that I'm the best one as we live together. I think she's suffering from anxiety related to this - she thinks everyone is judging her, etc. Now, I'm all for helping her so she can get her fitness on at a place (she's at the moment just going for a run once a week). But she asks me to sacrifice my own fitness where I cannot go to classes that I really enjoy, I cannot train the way I want to by myself, and I fear that I end up being the only one of us that actually goes there - we have tried this before where we decided to train together but after a few times she stopped coming with me because "it was always when I felt for training that we should go". I want to help her out but I think she's demanding a bit too much from me on that point...

Guests can be harmed but not killed. However, moat narratives in the cities are harmless to guests, it's only out in the wild that the more ... exciting narratives are found. Oh, and that ending!! This episode really had some progress with the story.

When he posted it, it was only announced for US. :P Afterwards, NoE posted the info as well.

You get a hell of a lot more screen with the XL over the 2DS. In terms of power and such there is no difference. Pokémon Sun / Moon perform quite a bit better on New 3DS so that might be a good reason to go for the New. You can see it here:

Do Platinum coins expire?? I have 2700 and no idea what to spend them on... -
What do you think about the last boss?

Of course I feel hopeful and down. I'm not a robot. But I wouldn't characterize myself as completely pessimistic or completely optimistic, it very much depends on the situation. On life matters, though, I just think I flow with it, think about the odds. For instance, and this is a secret (), we're working on getting a child and since there's a 17 % chance each month to get pregnant, I just don't think it'll happen right away, though it most likely eventually will. Is that pessimistic? I never gamble, no, not with money at least, and I certainly don't play the lottery! I don't know what you mean with "taken out the insurance". I have insurance and I've used it when I get my bike stolen or when my 3DS was drowned in a downpour. Edit: I do think that most pessimists do indeed know that they are pessimistic and thus not necessarily realistic in their expectations but that they just don't want to be disappointed. I think that's also why most people are in fact pessimistic - it's better to be pleasantly surprised than be let down hard.
-
Er. No? One can be neither pessimistic or optimistic but merely looking at the facts. If something is inclined to happen then you expect it to happen. Pessimistic would be to expect the opposite to happen even though it's unlikely. If you always expect the negative outcome of an action then you're pessimistic but if you switch views depending on the odds then I would say it's more realistic.

Season 5 has been better than season 4. Not as good as the first two seasons but better. All that stupid magic stuff is gone which is a relief, and while focus has been too much on training the recruits, the street action has been alright. Still feel that Green Arrow is not as good as he was in season 1 or 2 where he could take down an entire group alone but he's got better again. The Flash, though, has had a bad start with a confusing story line and boring foes. (But why didn't you just use the existing Arrow-thread we have?)
-
I would like to say that I'm just a realist - I tend to go for the most likely outcome of an action rather than focusing on the negative or positive outcome. However, if someone is told to answer for me, they would probably say that I'm pessimistic to some extend as that's what reality most likely is.

New information, final evolutions of starters, battle famous trainers! See trial Pokémon as well.

Save data will be on the cartridges for the games so at least that's not a problem. I think having the game on a ssd in the dock with it being (automatically) transferred over to the handheld expandable memory (kind of like installing a game on the other systems) would make sense and be a solution. It's a bit hard if you play a lot of different games at a time, though.

https://www.ft.com/content/f8301546-c042-320c-a4d3-fa42b6eb478b This is a bit strange since the Internet i generally positive towards Switch. And as Shorty I've also been worrying about memory. They can't only offer 32 GB flash internally, while SD cards are not a good solution. Games are going to fill those up quickly.

Another thing: Rumours prior to today indicated that we had guessed correctly with the hybrid theory but that something completely different was still missing. I see no indication of anything other than the hybrid in this video but has anyone else noticed something?

I like the tone and style as well. Gonna be interesting!
