I'm starting to get a bit bored by my current job. It's not that the tasks aren't interesting but the future of the site worries me, it seems to be completely stuck at old software engineering regimes without the wish to move on to newer technologies (still working on mainframe, which is alright but also so limited). I want to try out something new but I lack the experience with the new tech that other companies or departments within my company need - .NET especially. I can code in Java and has learned some C# (those two are very similar) but still need to have more experience with the framework which is hard to get without some proper training / tasks. So yeah, I'm feeling a bit stuck now. I was at an interview a couple of weeks ago. They thought that the learning curve of .NET framework would be a bit too steep for me which is hilarious to say the least: I have a master degree in mathematics, I have taken a professional master in software engineering alongside a full-time job without delay, and I work with pensions which is not really the easiest topic to get into. I almost sighed at that point, I think I've proven that it's alright to throw a steep learning curve at me.

10x10 most take quite some time to finish. What's the break, 1:30 between sets or something? It almost sounds like a crossfit workout.

I feel that by season 5, Green Arrow was such a wuss that couldn't take on a couple of soldiers and win on his own - much in contrast to his abilities in season 1 or 2. And also, I agree that Felicity is too good to be true. Didn't enjoy all the love triangles as well. However, I do like Green Arrow as a character, and I don't mind him teaming up with Arsenal or Speedy from time to time. The Flash I enjoyed more but I agree that Barry again was too inable in the end and it doesn't feel like that's how he is in the comics that I've read / seen. Also, I don't like Iris. Like... at all. I think all these shows could do with fewer episodes per season because they spread out the stories too thin, 12 would be more than enough, and they would still be able to run a couple of episodes with villain of the week a couple of times per season.

I bike to work (2*8 km fast-paced biking) so that helps a bit. But mornings don't work for me because I'm really not good at morning workouts and also because doing it would delay my work so I'd get home an hour or two later which then would amount to the same.

I don't have the time for exercising anymore. :/ Or rather, I have the time per se but it would mean that I won't be spending time with my son or wife when I get home from work, and simply exercising in the morning doesn't really help with that. In the evening (after 8 pm) I'm too tired. So I go in the weekends but that's too little - yesterday I had to do 50 strict pull-ups within 6 minutes and only managed 40. That wouldn't have been a problem back in the old days. It's really frustrating to see yourself get in worse shape! I think I'll try to set up a basic home gym so I can at least do a little weights at home. Just a simple rack and barbell would suffice.

Finished the game today. I think. I finished the Sky Castle but it feels like I need to do more - isn't there a dragon more that needs to be slain? Still awesome game. Simply.

Yeah, the game is actually harder than I thought it would be (playing on Normal). But it's a joy to play, the game still really holds up to modern games, especially with the new, charming graphics. I'm about as far as RedShell. Can't recommend the game enough.

What the fuck did I just see? I'm gonna watch that when it hits Netflix. Definitely! Funny thing, I never realised that the two other animals were a wolf and a crocodile. Just thought they were.. something not real.

Well, in their own right, the new games are really good as was SM. So the high scores are perfectly believable for new players. For players who played SM, though, there should be another score or verdict. Is it worth the upgrade for those?

Starting to see advertisement for this and now I'm sad that I can't go see it in the cinema (right away) and might have to wait for it to hit VOD as with Thor 3 and Spider-man Homecoming.

Local multiplayer on the same Switch, is it possible? If so, how many players?

Well, some of the moons are harder now, the timed challenged without Cappy especially, and you may want to get 500 moons as that unlocks the final level. After that, though, there's not really much more to do.

Well, honestly, have we ever expected anything better? I think it'll be good fun but nothing great.

Yeah, I'm on the "I like it as well"-team. I hate music on a menu. Why should it be there at all? Also mostly play the Switch without music. I don't use themes on the 3DS. I like a clean interface with nothing going on. My desktop on my computer only has the Bin-icon that I can't delete and a simple background. Thus, the Switch interface is really up my alley, though folders would be nice.
