Well, I was never one of them. I always liked amiibo for the figurines. The small little bonuses were just that, small little bonuses. And they were what made Amiibo harmless really.

Not gonna lie, Salmon Run is the sole redeeming feature of Splatoon 2. It's way fun! Why can't Splatoon just be that? Way better than the actual main game. All I'm gonna say is that I have to agree with @somme about it being a blessing in disguise when overpopulation is a big problem. Then again, I'm known to scream like a little girl when I get really excited. I'm also quite camp, so... *shrugs* Either way, I'm blaming Laptops.

There's a feature that splits chats up into whatever team they're playing on when a match starts in Splatoon, so the other team can't hear you. Other than that and Splatnet 2 itself, I don't know of any.

But... I like my Windows Phone... I like the idea of a separate sub chat for spectators. Given the choice, I'd much rather watch others play Splatoon than actually play it myself. And maybe laugh and point at any unfortunate happenings.

Awww... I was all ready to post "In before someone says put it on the Switch itself" You're no fun... Right, keep in mind that I've not used it yet (Mixture of not caring about Splatoon 2 and having a Windows Phone). Apart from the obvious function to run in the background, I think it'd be pretty cool if you could see who on your Friends List was playing their Switch, and let you invite people to play whatever game you want to play with them.

So, that Pokemon GO Fest going on right now... Yeeeeahhhh... Omnishambles doesn't even begin to describe it. I was all ready to come here to point and laugh from my high Keldeo, but after seeing some of the despicable behaviour there (Throwing bottles at people because you can't get a Lugia on your Pokemon spin-off game is just sad), I just feel sorry for the poor staff having to supervise there. The only compromise is that at least I can say I'm not in the same group as those losers.

Well, I always felt that Nintendo going mobile was a mistake. Sarky remark aside, if this eventually gets Ninty to buck up their ideas and make some kind of voice chat functionality on the actual Switch itself, then I'm all for this app going down the toilet.

Well, the upcoming sequels ARE called Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Also, you better not be talking smack about my bodybuilder mosquito! Buzzwole is utterly hilarious. Seriously though, I get the impression the Ultra Beasts are meant to look somewhat alien and strange. Personally, I think they squandered the Ultra Beasts by making them catchable, they would have made perfect Boss fights if they were way stronger than actual Pokemon you could use.
