Turn based Strategy RPG.

And that's both my superbonuses gotten. Great working with you, @Sméagol, as always. I should probably work on unlocking League Battle so I can team up with some N-Europers and make more normal modes more fun.
-
I'm liking this new stage in Salmon Run. The Fortress structure in the middle adds an interesting dynamic to the mix. I still hate getting a Charger though. I'm so awful with the thing.
-
Sorry @Sméagol Internet conked out. Got it back up now.
-
So, you still got space? I'm suddenly free, so I'd like to jump in.
-
Now don't panic, I'll show you exactly what you need to do...

So it seems like there's an option that increases the framerate to 60FPS at the cost of a resolution drop. So you could have 1080p/30FPS or 720p/60FPS. I'm not sure if this applies to handheld mode (Probably not). Nice little feature, one that I hope more console games start featuring. I know Koei Tecmo have been doing this recently. So it's cool to see them continue with Switch.

You have the same issue I do with the Mega Drive games. The further I get, the less fun I start having. I put it down to the increasing amount of times you inevitably run into an ememy/spikes/etc with absolutely no chance of you seeing it coming.
-
On the plus side, I can at least read the damn UI! X was hilariously hard to read, especially on the Gamepad.
-
My point was that they were advertising Local Multiplayer as a new feature, when it was in the original. It's very cheeky. Didn't know that he always had a name. I always called him "Bloke" Along with "Girl" and "Sprite"

Well, seeing as it wasn't technically Sega who made it, I wouldn't bet on that. I saw that thread on GAF, it was full of stupid. Mario's level design has been consistently good. Mario has nothing to worry about from this game.

Well, just seen the credits roll. (I got 3 emeralds, wasn't really going for them) It's a Sonic game? A Sonic game with some clever ideas, but somehow I feel like this being overhyped just a little. I'll have more to say about this in the Gaming Diary once I play through it with other characters.
-
I wouldn't be so sure of that... This is the mobile remake of Adventure of Mana, the game that came before Secret of Mana. I smell a lot of Asset reuse.

There's absolutely no denying that Red/Blue were incredibly important. It's basically the defining game of my and probably many other's childhood. But it's been improved on since then, quite a few times. My issue is not with the games themselves. Hell, I rebought Yellow on 3DS VC without a second thought the day it got released. My issue is the people who crave the same old 150 Pokemon over and over again. It's this attitude that they're the only important Pokemon so let's just focus on them. The attitude that I've seen a few people claim that Ultra Sun is only note worthy because they're might be an explorable Kanto, where before that possibility arose, they weren't interested. It's actually one of the things I think Pokken does well. Double Mewtwo and Pikachu aside (Hawlucha got robbed) it's got a nice mixture of Pokemon from all sorts of different games. And it's more interesting because of it.

Don't get me wrong, I like Gen 1. But it's nowhere near the best, not even better than the average Pokemon. It hasn't got the best region, it hasn't got the best game, it hasn't got the best Pokemon designs. Nothing about it stands out, except it's the first (And the glitchiest, but that's fun to mess with). I'm just sick to death of it being mentioned everywhere. It being the main selling point of recent Pokemon games. The new stuff should be the selling point. X/Y and Sun/Moon have just been taking the mick. I want them to take a more Mystery Dungeon approach and spread out the Pokemon in a game. Not have over 40% of the Pokemon in a 7th installment be from 1996. That was fine in 2001, but these days, there's no excuse for that. Not when you have over 800 of the damn things.

Now the SNES Mini selection makes a lot more sense. Also... WHAT THE FUCK!? That's a completely random choice for a remake! Good on you, Square. Let's hope your streak of not very good 3D remakes of 2D games stops here, huh? I'd like to finally finish this game myself without it glitching my file into oblivion... three times... I'm guessing that number 2 is just for show. That's very naughty Square. The SNES version exists. Also, since when was the guy called Randi? I'm sure he never had a name in the original. EDIT: On second thought, seeing an actual screenshot of gameplay... There's something kinda... bland about it. I think I'll just play it on the SNES Mini. I guess it all boils down to whether this version has sensible hit detection.

I'm more wondering why it's called "Cool Bonus" That's a silly name. Aren't all bonuses cool?
-
So uh... Why does this game have a Cool Bonus?
-
Well, it's failed on that front then. I find it pretty eh. The single player content is atrocious as well. Funny thing is, on the WiiU, it was one hell of a good looking game, the Switch one is pretty much just the WiiU version with the arcade characters (And Decidueye). Very quick and minimal port job.
-
So BOTW has as much narrative as a Master System game? You're kidding, but the game starts during the final level of the second game. Deeper than you think.
-
BAM! Results! GP1 GP2 GP3 It's a good night when I beat @Dcubed in every GP. Anyway... Now for a GIF of me getting UTTERLY ROBBED! Tell me that doesn't look like I was in front Which one of you nonces used the Lightning there!? Confess!
-
Not for me. Easiest choice ever. Now pit it up against Wonder Boy and that'll be a harder choice.
-
Darn your acceleration. Darn it, I say!
-
Oh boy! I can't wait to be screen watched by @Dcubed once again! Stupid Nintendo, encouraging old school players... EDIT: DAMNIT, @S.C.G Can you ever get in on the first race?
-
You're clearly drunk now. Because everyone knows I'm as hip and happening as one person could possibly be.
