Friend Codes, Fruit, Trading and Photo Thread For Animal Crossing
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Right, today I sent @markderoos a Pink Puppy Plushie. I then sent @Sméagol and @BowserBasher a blue Tin Robot. I also sent the three of you a blue RC Helicopter -
You mentioned the "Us and Them" viewpoint, and quite frankly, a lot of problems in politics can be attributed to that kind of thinking. The general public generally don't like finding out that their choices were wrong and instead of admit that they made a mistake, will double down and insist that it's their fault. What makes this truly terrible is that politicians know this and do not hesitate to use it to their advantage. You see this all the time in the UK, especially in Prime Minister's Questions. Paraphrasing just a tad here, but Kier Starmer: "Question about an issue that the Labour Party feels needs to be sorted/explained" Boris Johnson: "Labour do nothing but criticise our actions! They should be more supportive and support the choices we make, but they won't because they're just point scoring!" Might as well just respond with this face. It happens all the time with this government and I always think "Well, duh. They're the opposition, their job is to scrutinise the government's actions" But to the Conservative supporters that can't bear the thought of having to admit they might have made the wrong choice, this fits their narrative perfectly. "Things would be better if they co-operated more". It's not quite the same in America. The foundations of "them and us" are there, but it's a lot more extreme. And it's really gotten bad because Trump uses that card to extreme effects. And Americans are a whole lot more passionate about their political allegiance, which has naturally led to violence and the like. Thinking Joe Biden is going to change things for the better, is wishful thinking in my eyes. Things might calm down in the White House, for sure. But that "us and them" mentality is still going to be there and it's not going away anytime soon. Of course, I am generalising quite a bit here. Naturally, not everyone is like that, but the fact is, most are.

Oh crap! I legit forgot what thread this was! Uhhhh... I've downloaded it on Switch, therefore making me relevant to this game!

You know, I was always kinda middling on that song. It was fine, but I never cared. But then I played it on this game, and I kinda like it now. Something about tapping buttons along with it really elevated it in my eyes. (Also, a handful of actual Disney songs being in there really surprised me, thought Disney wouldn't do that)

Fair point. Despite me not playing KH3, I'm still not as confused as Dream Drop Distance. Fun game, utter nonsense of a plot!
-
No, they can disguise it all they like, but it's a rhythm game with music from a Square Enix series with RPG elements. It's Theatrhythm. Just saw the credits, BTW. Had a feeling me not playing KH3 left me a bit more lost than is usual for a Kingdom Hearts game. Also, Kingdom Hearts, not everything has to be canon, you know!
-
I didn't though. Just gonna pry myself away from Kingdom Hearts Theatrhythm for a bit.

Just coming in to tell you Disney Fans that I'm playing Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory and the Disney nostalgia is off the charts! I vanquished evil demonic shadows to Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo and I never felt so badass!

I've sent @Sméagol an Orange Dollhouse and a Green Dollhouse. I've sent the same things to @markderoos I then sent a Red Dino Toy and a Gray Dino Toy to @BowserBasher -
You don't. Animal Crossing is a game of freedom, but trying to "complete" it is a mistake. The idea is to boot it up once a day and spend 30 minutes to 1 hour slowly building up your island just how you want. When you think you're done, you close the game and carry on tomorrow. Just go with the flow for now and just explore what opens up to you each day. The game isn't designed to be played like your average game. When a few days have passed, try visiting other islands N-Europe players are living on and socialising with them. Now, even though there's no "end goal", most people set their own goals. Some go around collecting furniture, or maybe try to complete the museum (Don't worry, the museum will make sense to you eventually). Stuff like that.

Righto, here's the stuff I'm missing. Dinosaur Toy: Red Pop-up book: Shark Dollhouse: Red, Brown, Pink RC Helicopter: Green, Pink, Red, Yellow Mini Circuit: Red & White Puppy Plushie: Beige, Black, Red Kid's Tent: Pink, Black, Stripes, Blue, Brown, Colourful Tin Robot: Black, Green, Red, Yellow @markderoos, it might help if you used the actual variant names the Nook Shopping app uses. I'm not certain which Mini Circuit you need. -
Holy crap! It's Christmas! Yaaaaaaay! Merry Christmas, you lot!
-
That is some extreme ends of the scale of drunkenness going on there!

Back when this game was new, I had made it my goal to find a group that is cool enough to go along with an all Toxtricity raid and I was so close just now! It's really hard to do this ever since the influx of legendaries happened. Less and less people with style and flair just use lazy Legendary choices. One day I'll pull it off...
-
Yeah, it's such a rich blue. Definitely one of the best looking fossil Pokémon with that colour scheme.
-
This will compliment the blue Dinosaur Toy I got in Animal Crossing today beautifully!
-
It doesn't have a single Crocodile villager on it. Garbage design! 1 outta 10. Must do better.
-
Right, I'm gonna just go ahead and rate all of the Nintendo Control Sticks from worst to best. Think of it as my early Christmas present to you all.
-
With it being Christmas Eve. I was thinking of moving it to Saturday instead.
-
Nope, @Dcubed was mistaken, Like a Dragon isn't available on Game Pass. That's a shame, I hope it'll come to it some time in the future.

A topic on the declining interest in the N-E Mario Kart League
Glen-i replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well, if the day was changed, it could also free up Smash to happen earlier. It's something I've been considering.
