I'll be busy for quite a while, so I'll give you a shout when I'm ready. -

Redd is in my town and has a real Mystic Statue, a real Sinking Painting and a fake Scenic Painting. Yes, I already took a real thing. Got that rare triple real whammy! -

I'll come pick one up. -
It's possible that Nintendo might want some original games to help prop up their NES/SNES online apps. Rare Replay also includes quite a few titles from after Microsoft bought out Rare. Perhaps Microsoft isn't that keen on quite a number of XBox titles coming to Switch in that bargain of a package? Of course, pure conjecture on my part. Ideally, I'd want a tweaked "Rare Replay featuring guest star Nintendo" that includes Rare games that use Nintendo IP's such as StarFox Adventures and Donkey Kong 64. (Also, N64 version of Banjo-Tooie with not ruined Breegull Blaster controls) EDIT: No! Wait! Call it "Rare Replay and their Smashing Friends" Perfect!

Honestly, after the hugely positive reception of Banjo and Steve in Smash, and the relative success of Microsoft's Switch releases, I truly think some of Rare's Nintendo library coming to Switch is a matter of when, not if. Not Goldeneye though, as big as that'd be, the licensing hell that comes with it will be too much of a barrier. But Blast Corps? Banjo? Definitely.

Clearly a mistake, Ninty quickly deleted it and released a short statement stating the correction. My guess is that there were talks to release them on the WiiU VC, but they fell through for some reason. Ninty must have made a placeholder just in case, but then forgot to remove it. I do hope that Microsoft these days are more open to releasing them on Switch, especially after Smash shenanigans.

I actually quite like that idea. 2020 probably needs 2 rituals to purge it! I'll be updating my previous post.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (Switch, PS4, XBOne)
Glen-i replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That's big talk. The GBA one is my favourite game in the series, and I don't have high expectations for that to translate well to full 3D gameplay. Trying to juggle moving Sora, navigating your deck and controlling the camera sounds like a nightmare. And having to throw in a Z axis on top of that doesn't sound great. -
Oh yeah, I've been melding like mad, desperately trying to good abilities like Once More and Leaf Bracer, but no luck yet.

So I'm playing through Terra's path on Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and I have to ask why so many bosses so far constantly combo you to death? You get hit once and you basically lose 75% of your health! It feels really unfair.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (Switch, PS4, XBOne)

I mean, if you're going for all the trophies, you'll probably have to pull off some Full Chains on Proud difficulty, so chances are, you'll end up doing that one without even aiming for it. -

For what it's worth, the Switch version has an exclusive 8-player mode if you actually have friends to play it with locally. (That mode isn't online, unfortunately) Apart from that, there's barely any difference. There's no massive advantage outside of Trophy support. (The game already has "feats" which function as the same thing, anyway) -
I'm watching him. And I'd feel sorry for him if he didn't lump me with Sonic Chronicles last year! BTW, real talk, Wand of Gamelon has a soundtrack that's way too good for the game it's lumped with. Yes, it doesn't fit a Zelda game at all. But taken on it's own, it's really funky!

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (Switch, PS4, XBOne)

Yeah, I just did, now I've finished each song on Beginner. I do wish there was a bit more customisation to party layout. Set teams gets the job done, but I feel like they could've allowed some mix and match considering there's only 12 characters. It also would've been nice if they actually had some distinct abilities as it's all just cosmetic. The best team will inevitably be the one with the highest total HP/Def, (Strength is nowhere near as useful) and there'll be no point using anyone else. But the gameplay is still solid, and I can see myself wasting a lot of time chasing Proud mode! Oh, and it is funny to think that the two songs from Theatrhythm: Curtain Call that got reused in a different game are One-Winged Angel (expected) and TWEWY's Calling of all things! Anyway, I just learned that XBox Game Pass has the KH collection, so I think it's about time I actually play Birth By Sleep. That and III are the only ones I haven't played by this point. -

I'm pretty much going through the same thing, doing every song on every difficulty. Almost done them all on Beginner. Although I still don't have the materials to unlock Beauty and the Beast. If they pull some DLC with other Disney Songs, I probably won't be able to resist... -
Charlie Brooker has released a 1-hour special that's basically Newswipe. Death of 2020, it's called. Highly recommended.

Obvious response. But have you checked your Junk e-mails?

11pm (That's UK time, so it might be different depending on where you live) The idea is to bring together some people who might be unable to get together with friends and family to have a chat and count down the new year with others. If it drives you away from family, then don't feel obligated to join, just letting you know.

There was a link to a web page when I got my e-mail, but it seems that it's been removed for some reason. Shame... Also, we've found 2 people who haven't got Animal Crossing on their top 4!

If you're not busy on New Year's Eve, you should consider coming to the N-Europe New Year Countdown gathering I just posted about on the Animal Crossing thread. It'd be a nice welcoming to the N-E Switch gang.

New Year's Eve is coming up soon. This year has been trying, that's for sure, and I can imagine that some of us are a bit more alone than is usual at this time of year. So I was thinking of getting together a small gathering on someone's island to count down the new year! It's not a full on party like I normally organise, no silly games and waiting for me to type out what's happening next. Just a casual get-together with chatting and stuff. Still, some organisation is required, so here are the details. Date: Thursday 31st December When: 10:30pm (GMT) Venue: Radiata (@10:30), Kyoshi (@11) Dress Code: No dress code. Party-Goers: Glen-i, BowserBasher, Tales Maybes: markderoos Now, I'm more than happy to host it on my island, but I wanna give other people the chance to state their interest in opening up their island. Just to provide some variety.
