Same amount of courses as every console Mario Golf though? (6, not counting World Tour's DLC) The Story mode has some neat little twists to keep you on your toes as you go. Such as having to play a round of golf in the desert course before you dehydrate (Yes, really), and playing on one massive course with 9 holes that you have to sink in 40 shots or less. When you clear one of those holes, you carry on from that exact spot, so you have to plan your route and take into account the ridiculously high cliffs. (There are tornadoes around the place to help give your ball some much needed lift). Not to mention the strategy involved into what 7 clubs you take with you. You can take more, but going above 7 will slow you down while running. Haven't tried speed golf online, but I did try Standard Golf with two other members last night. Super slick and really snappy too. Got through 18 holes in half an hour.

Yep, you're right, it's a one way trip. You can do it old-school via in-game trading, but you'd need another 3DS with the virtual console games to do that.

Wow, Gen 5 gets one Pokémon line, and it's Crustle? I mean, kudos for the unorthodox choice, but after Sword and Shield's love affair with Unova Pokédex, I would've expected a little better balance there. Of course, Gen 1 gets almost half the roster to itself. (10 there, 11 if you count Ninetales)

So, I've just started Chapter 3 and suddenly, I'm a completely different character! He already won me over when I dodged a drunkard, got right up in his face, and offered him a towel. Time to give some thoughts so far. - I hate knives! I can sidestep a bullet aimed point blank at my face like I'm in The Matrix, but give someone a knife and I'm getting shanked 3 times in one fight! - I'm not going anywhere near Mr. Shakedown if I can help it. The game gave me a warning about how he takes all your money if he beats you up and I'd rather not test that theory. Seems exceptionally harsh. - I give up! I can't figure out how to use a weapon I've equipped. Can someone tell me so I don't have to go through the whole game punching people? - @Hero-of-Time was right, I am enjoying the side stories more than the main plot. Can't say I expected to help a dominatrix learn how to be a dominatrix via roleplay, but I did. I have no idea why Kiryu chose to do this in a children's park while actual children were playing there, but whatever. Oh wait, now they're being roped in to help with the roleplay? Kiryu summed it up best when he muttered to himself, "What am I doing with my life?" - That said, the main plot is serviceable so far. I'm invested... kinda... Will have to see if it holds my attention as I go. Cutscenes go on forever though. Like, wow. And people complain that Fi wouldn't shut up? - The camera choreography of these minigames is absolutely top-notch! I have never laughed so hard at losing in a slot car race! Real talk, if the new Mario Party has Slot Car Derby and doesn't have these over-the top camera angles, I'm gonna be very disappointed.

Oh yeah, Tokyo Mirage Sessions plays very similarly in battles. You'll be right at home here. The key feature of Shin Megami Tensei is the Demon-collecting aspect. You recruit demons as you go. Leveling them up and learning skills from them. (Think of it like having the actual carnage from TMS as playable characters) Then fusing two together to get a stronger demon. Rinse and repeat. One thing I did notice is that bar at the top right in battles. That's new to this series, but it looks to be very similar to the Special Performance bar from Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

Sonic and his friends get their body proportions all messed up, yet Vector keeps his proportions, slaps on a leather jacket and a tat(!), and gets away with it! Can we just have Vector be the star from now on? He'd probably make the games better just from being the protagonist!

He needs to take a leaf from Vector's book. That guy has a knack for showing up in an awful Sonic game, putting in the bare minimum appearance to fulfill a contract, and then skedaddling before too many people realise he was in it in the first place.

It's most likely a server issue. It's so widespread, it has to be. Again, until Nintendo release a patch, all you can do is just keep retrying until you luck out.

Same reason why Young Link and Toon Link were banned. BotW Zelda isn't the same person as LttP Zelda. I'm very serious about my Zelda Canon!
