It would definitely still be an amazing device, but if I could only afford one, it would probably be one with PC compatibility. Otherwise it would be like... a rooted stock Android device vs. a Jailed iPhone. Sure it works great out the box, it's shiny and support for it is brilliant - but everyone else is having fun playing classic PC games or chilling in VR cinemas with their friends and I'm stuck with this short list of Sony Approved Morpheus games. Yeah, I forgot my analogy half-way through there, but you get the idea.

Looks fantastic, Kotaku penned this as the best VR headset yet. Buuuuuut I think it will really be limited by the PS4. Not the hardware capabilities, but the fact that PC based VR can play anything, all kinds of mini-apps, homebrew stuff etc.. People are already plugging OR into existing games and doing amazing things, like that . Morpheus will be much more inaccessible to devs and consumers and as such software will be limited. Unless people find a way of plugging it into a PC....

That's a bargain considering a lot of people complained about the cost of the DLC! The clan is a bit quieter now than it once was (still 2-3+ raids a week) but it will all pick up around the time of House of Wolves so try and have some good guns by then!

I wouldn't say I feel nothing but I certainly don't share the optimism for it. It has an amazing mechanic behind it but since we know next to nothing else about it, it just isn't interesting me yet. The novelty of flying down to any world would wear off fairly quick if you didn't have anything else to do.

It's interesting no doubt, but by "big deal" I specifically mean why is this one item grabbing every news outlet like it's a one-of-a-kind phenomenon? Even celebs are getting in on the debate. Our brain will be automatically making these "decisions" all the time, it's just this one that has been asked out loud, in a sense. The image Cube posted, I think I first saw that on these very boards years and years ago, and it's the perfect example of this illusion, in that case it's forced that you can only see it one way. The dress circumstance on the other hand has polarised its viewers because we either see a white dress overexposed/under blue light or a blue dress underexposed/under yellow/white light. It probably just comes down to how your brain works individually, what its past experiences lead it to believe is the most likely effect they're seeing.

After all this time, Heart of the Praxic Fire is finally available after people spent tonnes of Motes to get it last week? I think the roll, which isn't great, is the same as the one I got from an engram too. I mean I got mine in one attempt but I'm sure some people will have spent a lot getting it. Those titan arms are also the only decent thing I got from last week's nightfall. Sigh....

Yeah it was easy to be cynical and think "they're just cashing in on this name", but also easy to forget that this is the same people that gave us Breaking Bad. Really enjoying it so far.
