  1. Because transferring the files to your new card is just a time-saving step, it's not actually part of the transfer process. I'm going to move all this stuff to a new thread so we can talk about MM!
  2. What exactly has gone wrong? Maybe your new card is not formatted right? Here's exactly what I did. 1. Take old normal SD card out of original 3DS 2. Copy all files to new Micro SD (should be formatted as FAT 32) 3. Put new SD in adapter and put that into original 3DS 4. Update new 3DS 5. Start transfer process on both machines.
  3. If only it was possible to return the game to Shopto
  4. Exactly the same opinion. Shopto peaked a while ago. Now they have a big enough userbase that they no longer need to be that cheap or that fast. Their whole mantra isn't even true anymore, even for buying games in stock. The name of the site comes from "shop late, play tomorrow" but the last time I bought a game around 5pm it took 2 days.
  5. Didn't get new flat, life remains shit.
  6. Famitsu Interview, details courtesy of Siliconera http://www.siliconera.com/2015/02/09/persona-5-details-protagonist-setting-dungeons/ + The protagonist is a second-year high school student (the new kid in town, may or may not be a thief) + Social links are in (in some form) + Not all dungeons are randomly generated (but some probably are) + Starts in Shibuya, set in other Tokyo locations as well (Almost certainly a beach at some point) + Problems will be solved (but some probably won't be ... at least without a guide) Protagonist info http://www.siliconera.com/2015/02/09/persona-5s-protagonists-problems/ + The cat thing Morgana can transform (perhaps into another cat) + Turn based battles, but with some differences (and the guns are not really guns, just things that look like guns and shoot) + Cutscenes are by Production I.G. (Ghost in the shell) + Everybody has problems (summaries courtesy of gaf)
  7. I absolutely adore the original but I have a really bad memory so I won't necessarily notice all the changes anyway. So far there's quite a lot of changes considering I haven't even reached the first dungeon yet. Feedback below.
  8. No, forget the contents of the new micro sd. You will have to download MM at the end of the process.
  9. My new figure with his big brother :p
  10. When the hinge of my New 3DS XL is in the normal/fully open position, there's a bit of "give", just a mm or two where it moves back and forth easily (eg, by tilting the device). Is that normal? :/ Maybe it's just the size/weight of this device vs the original 3DS that makes it noticeable.
  11. @Sheikah usually isn't home that early, but any time after 6.30 is fine with me.
  12. Yes. Can't wait. ;/
  13. Woot! And the first game I get to play? The waiting game! Edit: Just finished update and transfer process, gone to shop and found MM in Menu > History > Redownloadable software It's 646MB so I'll wait til I get home to download!
  14. I mentioned this in the MM thread. A twitter user said that it's in the estore downloads for you to get back after your transfer is finished. The thing only you presumably mustn't do is make a new NNID on the New 3DS XL.
  15. Yeah I can still replay S2 and S3&K and find them to be fantastic games. It's not nostalgia, it's not rose-tinted glasses, they're damn good games that flow nicely and have great level design.
  16. I like review scores because I don't actually want to read all about a game before I play it. I'm very anti-spoiler and draw a lot of enjoyment from knowing nothing about a game/movie/TV episode. Even overhearing about a new feature in Majora's Mask on PS4 chat annoyed me. But a 9 on Metacritic means "yep, I will definitely enjoy this game, it's worth my money". If a site has some semblance of integrity and consistency (eg, someone like Eurogamer) then there's nothing wrong with scores.
  17. Do you think anyone's ever looked at the map on the DPD tracking and gone to find the van to try and get their delivery early? Do you think that would work?
  18. This thread to discuss 3DS transfer process. Ripped mostly from the MM thread. Majora's Mask comes installed on the special New 3DS XL. After completing the transfer process, the New 3DS retains the fact that it can be used to download MM, and you can then get it back from the store. I'm going to add what I did, step by step, to move from a classic 3DS to a New 3DS XL with Majora's Mask pre-installed. I also bought a bigger Micro SD than the one that comes with the New 3DS XL. Remember you need a tiny screwdriver If necessary, format Micro SD to FAT 32 (in windows, right click > format...) Copied the contents of my 3DS SD card to my Micro SD Used a Micro SD adapter to continue using the new Micro SD in old 3DS Turn on New 3DS Make a profile, connect to internet, general setup - at no point make or log in to NNID Update New 3DS Turn on Original 3DS, update if necessary Start transfer process on both (system settings > other > system transfer) Select "Nintendo 3DS" on both Select "from this device" on original device, "to this device" on New 3DS On old 3DS, if you're using a normal SD card, select "yes" when asked, if using micro SD (like me) select "no" Follow remaining instructions and wait! Turn off old 3DS when it's back to initial setup and take out Micro SD card. Wait until New 3DS tells you to turn off and add SD card - do so then start it back up. Once everything's running on New 3DS, go to the eShop > Menu > Settings/Other > Scroll down to the History selection and press "Redownloadable Software", MM will be in there.
  19. If I got this game, as an absolute beginner (never played any Monster Hunter), would I be able to play regularly with N-E people? Do people use Skype to chat while they play?
  20. MH4U Discussion here!
  21. Commence Hype
  22. @Ganepark32 have you bought the DLC? If so I wouldn't bother with VoG normal, you can just play crucible until you can buy some 33 light gear then do VoG hard with the clan
  23. @Eddage I won't be home til 6.30
  24. Been playing a lot of P4 again, I forgot just how well dubbed and translated it is. It's clearly localised - for want of a less cliché description - by anime fans/for anime fans. The way they just use terms without explaining them, expecting you to either know or get it from the context, is just perfect for setting the scene in Japan and making it make sense.
  25. That looks pretty difficult to reproduce :p
