  1. If Nintendo hasn't made provision for WaveBird owners I'll be sad. But there is always the shell.. which I'll gladly buy anyway. I think the chances of the WaveBird working without using the RFID docking connectors is unlikely because the system would need dials to maintain the signals. I think Nintendo is using their own proprietary flavour of wireless, it could be a bluetooth hybrid but Sony want the PS3 to be a media hub, and use voip and connect to everything- Nintendo doesn't really have a need to license a tech that they might not use. They could use their own in house tech that they control.
  2. Some relationship with AOL and Nintendo WiFi.
  3. Haha I am one of those arty photographer folk, that's why I went for Mac. I would use Windows otherwise.
  4. Word on the street is it's getting dropped to $79.99 now to get rid of all remaining stock before Revolution. Even more reason to get one now, chances of a UK price drop? Slim and none.. because the few places that still have them have a monopoly in the UK and can charge whatever they want with their easily controlled supply.
  5. Literally 35,000 birds got killed in Norfolk. 3 farms have been infected and they've got the containment science dorks out there trying to contain it with their gadgets. No humans can catch it right now unless you literally inhale and ingest the faeces of the bird that is infected.. and if you do that to chickens in the first place you're kinda asking for some kind of infection. H7 varies somewhat for H5 strains of the virus, it's less of a worry which is why you haven't be warned. Scotland however has the H5N1 strain of the virus in Fife I think it is. I'm more worried about the farmer's livelihood and my supply of free range eggs than catching it.. which should give you an idea of the perspective and how likely it is right now for humans to catch it. It is fucked up, and it's a shame but this shit is innevitable in a global trading world.
  6. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
  7. Blah blah blah. Yes I am a child.. why do you need an extra port to connect multiple things. It's pointless.. It isn't what Nintendo wants. I'm sure the port will support a generic input from any piece of hardware designed to be used with it.. and then route that the software being run on the Wii. So if there's a microphone.. the FHC will route the audio to the Wii, and then to the internet for voice chat games. There wont be a specific standard protocol set up- Nintendo won't say "all FHC add-ons must use Z1, Z2 and the analogue stick because that defeats the point of having it. We've heard about 2 fishing games in development which will presumably have a reel for the FHC. The idea of connection 2 is just ridiculous. It's an open platform, if a developper 'needs' extra buttons or interfaces the FHC will (hopefully) handle them within the limitations of the bandwidth that the FHC operates on. I think it's ridiculous and overly complicated. If you explain to me a hypothetical situation where a developper might need this I'll gladly listen.. I'm sure you have something in your mind that is fueling this idea. One port, the developper designs the add-on and provides it at the lowest cost possible to the consumer. Hopefully in many cases offering the add-on with the game inclusive of the price. Design the add-on later, the protocol handles it, routes inputs to the Wii system and it is handled from there.
  8. LOL worst show evar.
  9. Yeah it's right at the very end.

  15. SATS don't matter. I was in bottom set for English after I got shit SATS and I got an A in my GCSE. It's all application, who the hell thought 14 year olds would enjoy studying Beowulf? Retards. At GCSE you get to study some great stuff, shuv the SATS. Your starting point would be to get each side on an equal plane. ignore the division part and concentrate on the numbers you have to start with.
  16. I saw this like 5 months ago.
  17. Wii-Nintendo is not iconic. That is what they want. I vote no on that one.
  18. Butt Physics!! v7.0 [/Mitchism]
  19. As a scientist I'm inclined the believe that the Mushroom Kingdom was not a guess. But I imagine the Kodak theatre employs cleaners and staff.. that would probably have access after hours to such information. I'm not sure whether I should believe this. I want to- but it leads me back to the question. If Nintendo have the technology to do this, why is Sony and Microsoft not experimenting with it. I find it hard to believe Nintendo is 'betting' on the underdog and hoping that the mass market loves it. This new way of presenting games sounds like a really big thing.. much bigger than HD. Nintendo won't let us down with minute secrets.. I'm sure of that. It would be anti climatic and the press would be licking their salivating tounges over empty notepads because they have nothing interesting to write.. I'm inclined to believe it's a big deal- that's for sure.. but this really is too vague to be considered as insider information. It's the same tune with a different piper.
  20. Risky stuff Stocka, Norfolk's got bird flu!! I reckon Time Square is probably the most photogenic place in the world.. it's amazing. I'd love to live in the city that never sleeps.
