There is a thing called a contract, Sony hold it and it's in their interests to protect what is debatebly their 3rd largest franchise. Kojima has said that Snake would not be doing "his runnings on the Wii" It won't happen and the only reason I see the Twin Snakes popping up is because Kojima has so much influence and his team weren't developping it on Sony's time. They gave him and inch but they wont let him take a mile. Sony let them release it because they knew there is a group of Nintendo fans that might get hooked by the story.. then go out, buy a PS2 and play MGS2/3 and indeed perhaps the other titles. It's the free sample.. Nintendo won't be getting anymore. I'm happy Kojima is working on something because it has all the potential to be better than MGS.. all these years he's been working on one game, I don't blame him for being bored and saturated with it. All those ideas cumulated into one Wii game is bound to be good.

250 stars per game in currency.. 2000 points, estimated at £17 (I estimate £15 will be the final price) 1000 points = £8.50 500 points = £4.25 (for a console) 250 points = £2.12 (for a game) Phat chance they're going to give away that kind of revenue. Also what kind of infastructure is there implemented to sync Nintendo Europe's servers to the Wii? None.. It wont happen, that's not to say they wont ask you to trade in say.. 5000 stars for 2000 VC points (example) and the card will come in the post or via e.mail. I don't think you'll get a direct translation though.

Haha you gone proved my guesstimation theory wrong. I think they said 4 million by March 2007? With the DS lite they were happy to launch with about 700,000 then the follow up stock came soon after. I don't think there will be quite 1 million on launch for Europe, but probably not far off.

They wont even give you a tenner. GAME has pre-owned GameCubes for £30, and knowing their logic is a 60% markup on what they give the kids typically you'll get about £10 off your Wii. That's if you're lucky. Personally I think you should give it to a children's ward or a charity shop.. but if you really need the tenner then go for it. I'd pre-order the Wii if I were you.

Reggie said most of their stockpile would be going to America, so we can expect less for the other regions in total. Lets say 500,000 for Europe, 500,000 for Japan. This is a total shot in the dark but I'm guessing it will be a minor effort to procure one on December 8th. the 360 had 300,000 for each territory (EU, US, JP)

Core Solo was a stupid move, I doubt it sold more than a few thousand units. I got offered that Growl thing the other day but said no because it looked too much like a Windows XP install this then regret it jobby. Seems a bit novel to go fiddling around with tbh.

You could set up a mirror system from the bathroom to your TV guys. I actually used a pint glass to have a slash once.. never doing that again. Nearly spillt it too. Problem is you never know if you're gonna piss more than a pint and I had like an inch left from overflowing.

I'm suprised how much love Wii Sports is getting.. I would have thought most people would consider them as inferior as they're a freebie. I'm not sure how long Wii Play/Sport will last for me.. but I think it would be great fun for at least a few weeks. I imagine it will be easy to master to an extent where you get a home run every time in Baseball.. 10 pins every roll in Bowling etc.. Golf and Pool are good games for me, can't afford to do either in real life.

`Rub my penis over it. Break out Wii Play and Wii Sports with a few mates I reckon. Sleep at 6am, then maybe play some Super Monkey Ball mini games the next night. Might check out those Wii channels and see how much of a gimick they are and fiddle with any downloadable content available.. DS demos, Wii demos for instance. This is all under the assumption that NintendoConnect24 will launch with the system.. I have a suspicion that Smash Bros has been delayed because Connect24 has. It's not a wildly superior game.. new graphics, same controller.. new characters so some tweaking perhaps. I see no god damned reason why it's being delayed besides that.

Just grabbed these out of the video, it's the highest resolution version I could find. That last clip was hiding something behind the door.. as it's got a clearly intentional fade out over it blurring the statue/monster behind.

Mikey I loved the previous games to GTA Vice City, including GTA III. I don't have a favourite I was merely saying that the series started going downhill from Vice City onwards and I lost interest. <3333333 One of the best games of the decade, I hope they do some kind of boxset so I can catch up. Whether or not Table Tennis is part of the 2K sports line up is irrelevant.. Take2 can do what they want. That sounds pretty explicit with reference to "Rockstar presents table tennis" as a Wii game. One thing is for sure though.. Reggie knows there are a lot of (virtual) blood hungry americans who would be swayed by more mature and perhaps violent video games on the Wii. What Reggie wants he often gets.. he knows about marketing and demographics, that kinda toss that often gets disreputed on forums in favour of made up statistics and generalising that 'because I do' - then the whole gaming world will. He is talking to the right people..

Think my mate said 7 years.. not entirely sure if that's accurate. Can't be arsed to check Wikipedia. Super Metroid -> Metroid Prime this is, none of the GBA games. Whether or not this is the last I won't be sad.. Samus has had a great innings and it's better to go out on a bang than fizzle away like so many other titles. I think Metroid is one of the greatest game series ever created.. I've only just finished Prime and I was engrossed start to finish.. despite the slow pace it held me every corner. Few games do that.

This will be my first entry into the Residency. Quietly excited after the hype of RE4, I'll probably get RE4 after I've played Umbrella Corp. Chronicles.

Battle Royale, 7/10 Heard the book's better because it has more time to develop characters.. doesn't feel like such a gore fest when you know that there are deep rivalrys between characters which would have made the film better IMHO. Anyone wanna recommend some classic kung fu readily available over bittorrent? All the .torrents seem to be shit except for uber mainstream krap fu films. TY. I am happy to go to the 70s and 80s btw..

Yeah in a way it is a very primitive spore. The sonars are for levels, you go to the origin of the sonar ping and you'll find a portal to take you up or down. Red ripple is down, blue is up... the deeper you go the badder the nasties become, be sure to evolve or you'll end up deadz0r. I kinda like it, obviously it's Sony's ethical industry poster game.. I don't buy it.. they've not got the small developper's interests in mind anymore.
