Ah.. we definitely differ there on Luigi's Mansion 3! I was impressed visually but I wasn't entirely enthused throughout. I remember thinking it was a bit 'ploddy, ploddy, suck, suck' at the time and that wording has never left my thoughts about it 😅 The GameCube original was the perfect length with the right amount of exploration and variety. Plus, it felt incredible with the controller! Unfortunately, more recent Nintendo controllers haven't been able to replicate that feeling even though I love the Joy-Con so much! -

This was a nice surprise. I wasn't planning on playing this during my October/Halloween gaming month but the patch for the broken trophies dropped yesterday afternoon. This meant I could finally finish the game, which I done this evening. The Garlic Paradise adventure mode wasn't too difficult but I struggled more than I should with World of Light and Dark. The game just wouldn't give me the drops I needed and I was always too weak when the later rounds came around. I decided to drop my weapons from 6 to 4, meaning they would level up quicker. This worked a treat. All done! -
Did I spend two hours farming exp? Sure did. And was I able to fight an enemy which my party recommended to avoid? Sure did. And was this fight super easy because I farmed a lot of exp? Sure was. Love this game Edit: And did I get a strong sword as a reward? Sure did. -

I remember struggling with the structure when I first played it. I'm sure I found the missions far too long. I think it won me over in the end. Like Pikmin, the 3rd game is by far my favourite.
