Charlie Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I really want a good multiplayer game to play other than WiiSports. What are you guys looking forward to most on the multiplayer side of things?
Guest Jordan Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Yeah, Smash Bros because its online for one thing...
The3rdChildren Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Red Steel, Monkey Ball and Rayman should all serve up some decent multiplayer. Downhill Jam shouldn't be bad too. To be honest it's all a bit lacking outside of Zelda's heavenly abode.
Nards Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Wii Sports is so much fun I've only played multiplayer bowling tho because I don't have 2nd controller yeh After playing Wii Sports I want Wario [smooth Moves?]
conzer16 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Wii Sports is the best multiplayer game I've played in a long time. Its just so much....fun! I would love to see a remake of GoldenEye.....oh how a man can dream.....
gaggle64 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Looks like Monkey Ball is going to be the staple of multi player nights (apart from wii Sports) until Smash Bros. What's the word on Raving Rabbids multi player by the way? For ONLINE multiplayer, I just can't wait for Battalion Wars. Even more so then Smash Bros.
triforce_keeper Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Wario Ware Smooth Moves! The demo was so much fun. And Nintendo are right, it's so fun to watch people actually playing the game too. I was pissing myself when my friend had the hoola hoop game!
Guest Stefkov Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I would love to see a remake of GoldenEye.....oh how a man can dream..... A man can dream, oh yes he can........ For me its gotta be Smash Bros, Wii Sports/Play with my mum and family will be a blast. Red Steel with my bro might be fun need to get and extra nunchuk though. I never really got into monkey ball.
mcj metroid Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Red Steel, Monkey Ball and Rayman should all serve up some decent multiplayer. Downhill Jam shouldn't be bad too. To be honest it's all a bit lacking outside of Zelda's heavenly abode. with four multiplayer maps that pute this games multiplayer worse than metroid echoes
ShadowV7 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I'm looking forward to Wii Sports/Play.I'm considering picking up Monkey Ball aswell. Then obviously when it's out DBZ/Wario/Bwii and Brawl.
Nintendork Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Which ever game allows you to hot swap controllers between rounds. Single play multiplayer of course has it's downsides but this is a good way to play on a budget. I'm going for Monkey Ball. Wii Sports is short winded, WarioWare has no pace. Mario Party could be good though. Rayman is single player no? Once Smash is out party games become irrelevant to us.
AshMat Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Monkey ball, Red Steel, downhill jam and wii play those are all the ones with multiplayer ill be gettting anyway. Wii play does have multiplayer right?
ShadowV7 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Yea i'm pretty sure Wii Play is multiplayer.
Goron_3 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Like every sane person i'll say smash...BUT i think Rayman looks amazing for multiplayer
Zell Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Smash Bros Melee, the wii is backwards compatible people!
Kurtle Squad Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Monkey Ball is the best looking for Multiplayer I have seen for launch.
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Monkey ball is going to be a multiplayer favourite. Rayman also looks to be up there. I'm torn between the two. There will be more, though. Wario Ware is shaping up to be something nice.
Nintendork Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 My problem with WarioWare is that it's got demonstrations to show you how to set up before you hula hoop or pogo. It ruins the pace that the other games had. 5 second mini game 5 second demo.. repeat. That's why I'm not getting Wario.
The Bard Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Best multiplayer game on Wii? I'll be waiting for Goldeneye .

Even if you can't, i doubt they'll appear on the screen for very long anyway. It shouldn't make that much of a difference, imo.
Nintendork Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 http://www.goldeneyesource.com 36 player GoldenEye with source graphics > Wii. You might be able to skip them. Even if you can't, i doubt they'll appear on the screen for very long anyway. It shouldn't make that much of a difference, imo. I think it's a huge difference, and I think I read you can't skip them. It's to ensure that nobody cheats (easy) or gets hurt. It is aimed at the novice after all. Hopefully there's a hardcore mode.
