Fierce_LiNk Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Anybody else watching this? If not, BBC1, now. Jordan and Peter were on not so long ago. How cringeworthy.
KKOB Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 very! and they were miming BADLY!!! imo children in need is lame-apart from it being a good cause i find it dull. Comic Relief FTW!
welsh_gamer Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Will watch the BBC newsreaders doing their yearly stunt, but otherwise its all a no-no for me!
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 Is there anywhere on the BBC streaming it? I've tried googling it, and it just takes me to the BBC website, and i can't find a direct link there. Hmm. Best advice: get to a tv, if you can. If you cant: scout around the bbc website, there might be something there i missed.
Charlie Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Our school donated pver £1000. Wuite a lot nnon-unfiform day + donations
Letty Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I gave up at around half seven. I cant watch tv
Cube Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I don't trust that the money will get to where it is supposed to go to. The company behind it gets none of my money.
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 I've been DS-ing and had this on in the background. Also, some Audioslave and Muse. Children in needs loses its magic once you're not a kid anymore.
Cubechris Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I donated a fiver. Same. Yeah. Anyone else?
kyletherobot Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 i find terry wogan rather irritating, ill wait for comic relief and donate double my normal amount. fearne cotton is the only reason to watch it to be honest. she is so hot.
Oli1983uk Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I have just got in from doing a night shift to take this show out, I have lost all interest in the shows really snice I started working on them.
Atomic Boo Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 i find terry wogan rather irritating, ill wait for comic relief and donate double my normal amount. fearne cotton is the only reason to watch it to be honest. she is so hot. I agree totally with everything you said. Edit, just took a print screen from their website:
Katie Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Same. Yeah. Anyone else? I donated online as well, plus the work collections, cakes, raffles and such. I watched some of Children in Need but it wasn't as much fun as I remembered.
KKOB Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 they only got 18 million-seems a little low when i'm sure comic relief or CiN have made 21-23 million before
Domstercool Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 It was on? Didn't even know. Man this year really wasn't that advertised at all.
fatnickc Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 It was on? Didn't even know. Man this year really wasn't that advertised at all. They had those adverts with Terry Wogan geting into the wrestling match...
Atomic Boo Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 They had those adverts with Terry Wogan geting into the wrestling match... yeah, i thought it was advertised quite well. EDIT actually, reflecting on it, i only realised that was an ad for CIN after about the 4th time watching because i just watched it subconsiously taking no interest in what the advert was showing. and i never saw any posters or stuff that advertised it either. so yeah, they did a bad job of it on that front
