Letty Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Are baked beans actually baked? They seem more, boiled, to me..
david.dakota Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I would imagine that the beans are baked before theyre put in the can. And more pointless bean trivia: Heinz use Navy Beans for their baked beans, but are often mistaken for Haricot beans (which are a little smaller).
KKOB Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 baked beans and HP sauce is rank! its up there with marmyte in the realm of grosse things thw world would be better if they hadnt have been invented. i mean global warming wouldnt be a problem without baked beans.
ViPeR Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 All this love for branston beans brings a tear to Flinkymon's eye. Where is the love for heinz, people? Society has gone mad. They suck, get used to it
Roostophe Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 The only decent thing in the world with the name "Bean" is Mr. Bean. HP Sauce owns all other sauce. But we're not buying it because they're moving the production from Birmingham to Elst in the Netherlands. Everybody in Birmingham is boycotting the sauce. HP Sauce I like that new Wikipedia feature.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 The only decent thing in the world with the name "Bean" is Mr. Bean. O_O Oh no j00 didn't. You are in error.
ViPeR Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 O_O Oh no j00 didn't. You are in error. For england James...
weeyellowbloke Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Dried baked beans look horrible. Like some disturbing skin disease. They also stick to the plate with a strength rivaling super glue.
Blackfox Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 HP Sauce owns all other sauce. But we're not buying it because they're moving the production from Birmingham to Elst in the Netherlands. Everybody in Birmingham is boycotting the sauce. HP Sauce I like that new Wikipedia feature. Damn right. I just hope more people do this. Money grabbing ****s.
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 Just wondering, but did anyone ever try that heinz baked beans pizza? I'm talking about 5-10 years ago now. I've been praising this pizza for years now, but it seems that nobody tried it. Please tell me someone else out there enjoyed it, too.
Meik Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Just wondering, but did anyone ever try that heinz baked beans pizza? I'm talking about 5-10 years ago now. I've been praising this pizza for years now, but it seems that nobody tried it. Please tell me someone else out there enjoyed it, too. Wow, trip down nostalgia lane. I too used to take delight in the merging of beans and pizza. Now if only Branston would make an alternative..
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 Meik, i have searched long and hard for someone like you. We must be like...brothers or something. What a fantastic idea it was, though. I've tried in vain to re-create the heinz pizza by putting my beans over a normal cheese and tomato, but it just ain't the same.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 That baked bean pizza tasted exactly as it sounds, baked beans and pizza. Too bad that together they taste like crap.
mario114 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Heinz are the best by far, it's not even a opinoin, it is proven fact.
DanielTimothy Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Why do I hate tomato sause and love beans?
Roostophe Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 O_O Oh no j00 didn't. You are in error. I only just realised what you meant by that picture. Sean BEAN. I'm a fecking idiot. It's true, masturbation does kill brain cells.
