Guest Stefkov Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 yeah i wonder what its aout? was it a war or something?
Babooo Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I'm really looking forward to this.....looks very interesting.
masaki86 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Looks more like natural disasters mate. Tsunamis volcanic eruptions.....quakes...
Ramar Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Looked fantastic, again like a few other games, they didn't really reveal much, so lets hope when interviews have been conducted and booth games played more news is revealed.
darkjak Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Hmmm... A game like this was announced a year ago, and everybody was oh-so excited... It hasn't been heard from since. Wonder if this is it...
gorrit Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Looks interesting, and IMO, it's good that Nintendo does something like this, a new IP that isn't so very kid-friendly (no, I definatly don't have anything against Pikmin etc, but I still think it's rather important Nintendo show that they are for everyone)
Mimternet Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I remember one of the IGN editors, either Matt or Craig saying they want to be surprised by a game from Nintendo in one way or another by its shocking content. This is it for me, I can't think of such a "mature" game coming out of Nintendo. Disaster already looks awesome.
Nintendork Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Interesting is the word. Nintendo's only new IP that looks interesting to me, Project Smash looks lame, Excite Truck left me loop warm but this game.. This looks really amazing. I hoped for a dark story.. something for mature games. I got it.
Towers Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Was impressive but no in-game footage shown. Can't wait to see if this is on the floor tomorrow to see people playing it.
masaki86 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 http://wii.nintendo.com/games_disaster.html There you go mate.
djamb3 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 It only shoewd a few natural disasters like eruptions and so, but I think was the best looking of all.
Guest Stefkov Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 natural disasters?! this sounds pretty cool. that volcano erupting was awesoem, i remember that fom the presentation.
KKOB Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 the most interesting of nintendos new ips without a doubt!!! wonder what the story line will be-no doubt a convoluted one lol
Nintendork Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 OMFG THE OFFICIAL SITE IS UP? I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE JAPANESE ONE.. GAH YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON ME.
McMad Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 OMFG THE OFFICIAL SITE IS UP? I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE JAPANESE ONE..GAH YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON ME. This has made today even more special. Nintendork showing himslef being excitied!!!
darksnowman Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 This has made today even more special. Nintendork showing himslef being excitied!!! He's quite an emotional guy once you take the time to get to know him.
Nintendork Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Hahaha more importantly, isn't this the most non-Nintendo product you've ever seen? Apart from the Wii itself..
Ashley Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Not knowing much about it and all I think its safe to say; this game has potential to be very storyline-oriented. I hope it is, cause thats what I want.
Bluejay Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Not knowing much about it and all I think its safe to say; this game has potential to be very storyline-oriented. I hope it is, cause thats what I want. I hope so too, it looks like a stroy drivven game, like farenheit.
Atomic Boo Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Looks pretty cool, is it a first person, 3rd person? i dont have any idea how you control or what you do. The tsunami reminded me of 'The Day After Tomorrow'
Nintendork Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I'd imagine Nintendo would want to go third person with this title.
Jay Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I'd imagine Nintendo would want to go third person with this title. Its being developed by Monolith who traditionally make atmospheric First Person titles - I think this may well be the same. It sounds really promising
