Nick Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Amazon Have swiftly adjusted the release date for Twilight Princess from Novemeber to a definit May 15th release. Hmmm, rather interesting. Could Nintendo really be pulling a fast release of the title as a surprise?? I don't know. We should find out next Tuesday. Now, I didn't pop this in the official thread, because I don't think that it would have garnered the attention that it deserves. Having said that, mods can adjust and lock as necessary.
blender Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 "Gamestop = Ships 9/1/2006" which translated to the queen's english reads "Gamestop = Ships 1/9/2006"
Nick Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 That would mean it would have shipped on the 9th of January here. Stupid Americans, always have to be different. EDIT: That wasn't directed at you blender.
Hero-of-Time Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 If I had a hat I would eat it if this turned out to be true. This is one of Nintendos biggest games and to release it so quickly with no advertisements e.g posters in shops, adverts on telly etc would be a big mistake. Sying that I wouldnt have a problem if we got it in the next 2 weeks
Nintenchris Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 It does seem rather odd that Amazon would change the date so quickly... but imo i think they have just made a mistake because Japan are most likely gonna get it first.
Owen Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 It's end of September, worldwide! DEFINATE! Though May 15th would be lovely...it's not as though it needs anymore time for advertisement now is it?
Mokong Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Amazon.co.uk still has it down as November 24th.... SO yeah that seems like the right gap between US and Europe releases :p
Nick Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 Amazon.co.uk still has it down as November 24th.... SO yeah that seems like the right gap between US and Europe releases :p If that does eventually become the case, I'll be importing it. Screw Nintendo.
ShadowV7 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 But May 15th is a monday.I don't really believe it ,but I will wet myself if this turns out to be true.
Sooj Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 May 15th? Please no, I have exams. May 30th? Yes please!!!!!
Nick Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 But May 15th is a monday.I don't really believe it ,but I will wet myself if this turns out to be true. Games are released in North America on a Monday.
DCK Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I'm thinking September. Wii launches in October, so we'll get TP in September. Or the USA gets it in September anyway.
Fanelia Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 There should be laws against cruel and unusual torture, like this one. Laws, and punishment too.
Kurtle Squad Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 It's Amazon; they always get dates wrong, and all the online shops copy each other. It would be good if it's true though, but i doubt it...
Ashley Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Stupid Americans, always have to be different. The Japanese is different too. 7th Feb 2006 would be 2006/07/02 or 2006/02/07, can't remember.
Kurtle Squad Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I think it 7th Feb 2006 would be: 2006/07/02 But at least that MAKES SENCE
MunKy Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Why cant it be May 15th here? I got my theory test that day and playing TP after would be even better after that boring torture. Also it would mean I get to play and possibly finish it before I go off to basic training. Ah well, I can always dream.....
Etymotic Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I agree May is unlikely. Impossible. November or even September seems so far away... I'm ground down waiting for E3 as it is, it feels so close yet so far.
Nick Posted May 5, 2006 Author Posted May 5, 2006 Hmm, it is impossible. Amazon have changed it to Novemeber 15.
