So I recieved my copy of Army of Two and 6 hours later its finished Its an alright game with a few cool features but I just wish it was longer. Still, it demands a 2nd and 3rd play through to score some achieveys and I have yet to play online with my mate for some co-op action.

is there any point getting a HD DVD Add on for the 360? I know it's all dead in HD DVDl and, but Game have got the add on for for 40 quid which ain't a bad deal, I noticed yesterday while having a look around was really tempted to grab one, but I didn't know weather to or not >>

 

I'd say yes, but only if you can get the disks cheap.

 

Great news on the 360 price cut! Im thinking retailers stocking at £150, £200 and £250 is pretty likely, maybe even Premiums as low as £180 at places like Shopto.net (who currently sell it for £220)

I have started playing Xbox online in the last few days. Mostly playing on PGR 4 but one some of the races they are talking about doing bumper cars and telling people who dont have the pack to download it. how do i know if I have this pack, I checked online and I have downloaded the free pack but haven't bought the 400 points pack.

Yeah it is good, it does feel alot like Gears although a little more hectic at times. The Aggro System is genius and would love to see more titles use it. As for the story, its decent but cliche I mean you can see the end coming a mile off. Also the ending is pretty flat and feels somewhat rushed. Its still enjoyable and like I said I havent yet played it online. Oh and you can invite mates into Ranked matches online! Other developers take note!

I just played the first level, the training level. It looks very nice, very nice indeed. The camera is alright the only gripe I have is the walking with the left stick. It felt too fast when moving one direction to another. We'll see as it goes along. Rob get your box back soon.

Interesting to hear the news on the price drop for the 360, hopefully it might steal some of the Wiis sales this way I bought my arcade machine for £150 just before christmas and managed to get a hard drive recently for £45 so I don't feel bad about purchasing earlier or anything

Army of Two is an ish game. The graphics are very nice, especially in the cutscenes. But the sound was out of synch at some points in the cut scenes.

I like the cover system; just pushing yourself against a wall/cover and just having to fire over it is great. Co-op bits are great, step jump etc are all nice additions, it should be used more.

The aggro system is quite good but I've just developed a habit of running out in the open and just shooting. Might not be able to do that on higher dificulties, hopefully.

Just need to finish the game and then play it in co-op. A game not worth missing imho. Story is predictable but then again who doesn't want a game about two men who can kill entire armies and have fun while doing it?

Hmm, the elite is going more for 300 than 250, but that's as a bundle. I'm currently looking for premium as I've had all sorts of things about basic.

 

It's just finding somewhere I trust and is cheap to grab an xbox360.

Good news on the 360 price cuts, it will be interesting to see how this affects sales for both the Wii and PS3, hopefully taking more PS3 sales away from them.

 

And just did a short stint on Vegas where me and my mate completely pwnd a bunch of Americans who were all cocky little so and so's. Did the Casino level, i hid at one end of a corridor my mate at the other and just let them come to us, suckers.

Tbh Night if u wanna get a 360, I would avoid the Elite. The improvements are hard to spot and the added space isnt really needed seeing as the movie download service is a con.

That's what i'd do too, i've seen 20GB HDDs go for under £30! Add in the money you'd get for selling the memory unit and the bonus of having 5 arcade games thrown in and it ain't a bad deal, even before you start looking at bundles.

I've seen it on a 360 and it looks horrible. I like my shiny disc tray front thing.

I had a few muliplayer/deathmatch games on Army of Two via Live and it was quite good. Its great how we are seperate from the yank servers so now I dont have to listen to then yap on about mothers and stuff So far everyone is pretty friendly on the servers which is a rare thing on Live.
