LegoMan1031 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 It's James Nesbitt you plums What are you talking about? Trailer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/videos/?episode=S4_12&character=&action=videostream&playlist=/doctorwho/playlists/s4_12/video/s4_12_trl_05.xml I want a full trailer, not a teaser! just makes me want to watch it more! I need a TARDIS right now to go into the future to next saturday to watch it! lol
Retro_Link Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Apparently Doctor Who fans were polled at some covention and asked who they would want as the next Doctor Who: James Nesbitt won with 18% or something [iMO he would be Sh*t, I'm not a fan] Second place was Simon Pegg, who I can actually see as being pretty awesome in the role! Though he would bare a slight resemblance to the Master!!
Happenstance Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 All the people id like to see as the Doctor have already been in the show. Pegg, Simms and maybe even an older Doctor than the newest 2 in Antony Head
Tellyn Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 What were those rumours about Daniel Radcliffe being the Doctor all about? :S God no.

Though he would bare a slight resemblance to the Master!! As Happenstance already touched upon, Simon Pegg was a villian in the Eccleston series. Don't quite remember the name of the episode, but he was that frosty fellow on the TV Space Station thingy - middle-ish of the series. D_prO's Memory 1. Rest of the world 0.

Yeah I remember the episode. Think it'd still be possible for him to take on the role.

Cube Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 By the way, where's K9? Was he not in the Sarah Jane program? Due to stupid licensing issues with the non-BBC K-9 cartoon, he only appeared in a few short sections in the Sarah Jane Adventures. He's looking after a black hole that was accidentally created in Switzerland.
Happenstance Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Well thats my idea of K9 being in the backseat of Sarah Janes car and saving her out the window then
Cube Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Well thats my idea of K9 being in the backseat of Sarah Janes car and saving her out the window then Not entirely. He can leave the black hole alone for a short amount of time plus he has a built-in teleporter. Although I think that someone else will save her.
Guest bluey Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 i actually honest to god let out a tiny scream of sheer terror from behind my pillow while watching this episode. at the first "ex-ter-mi-nate!" LOVE IT!!!! ca-not WAIT for next week!
Dante Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 other rumours has it that david tennant doctor becomes two because of the hand in the jar mess up the regenerating.
KKOB Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 I would probably stop watching if James Nesbit was ever the doctor. Just can't stand him. OMG i had to post this somewhere . . . Caption contest? :P
gaggle64 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 A highly enjoyable episode, though not quite as good as last weeks. I kind of likes the whole spin off bit, though I don't know why the ex-PM had to be necessarily included. Also, I rather like James Nesbitt.
Happenstance Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 other rumours has it that david tennant doctor becomes two because of the hand in the jar mess up the regenerating. Thats the main one ive heard aswell
thunderer Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Two doctors would be awesome. Cannot see James Nesbitt as the doctor, then again don't think i could see anyone else as the doctor now...
navarre Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Great episode. I'm just pondering how the BBC will ever top this. They've done every single trick in the book.
DomJcg Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Haha You think he'll die? your forgetting where the shot hit him, this heart, his right heart, he still has another one, usually, dalek shots engulf the entire body, but as it clipped him, it was only part of him, so i reckon he'll grow a new heart. I'm not expecting something from the hand, they have shown it a few times before. I want to be proved wrong
darksnowman Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 To stick with the hand theme, remember when he was lying in the Tardis and he looked at his own hand and said something like, "its starting." Was it his right hand he looked at? I think it was... and was it his right hand that got chopped off...? I can't quite remember.
Ashley Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I would probably stop watching if James Nesbit was ever the doctor. Just can't stand him. OMG i had to post this somewhere . . . Caption contest? :P Is that from the Dalek porn video thing? To stick with the hand theme, remember when he was lying in the Tardis and he looked at his own hand and said something like, "its starting." Was it his right hand he looked at? I think it was... and was it his right hand that got chopped off...? I can't quite remember. Trailer focuses on his hand regenerating too. Its all in the hands. Ooh! He's got the whole world, in his hands...
Cube Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Interesting thing with Torchwood next year. Only 5 hour-long episodes. All of them will be shown in the same week.
Guest Jordan Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Interesting thing with Torchwood next year. Only 5 hour-long episodes. All of them will be shown in the same week. That sounds pretty intesting... Hm. Anyway, when will we see the next trailer for this weeks episode?
Esequiel Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Anyway, when will we see the next trailer for this weeks episode? Dont know if we will or not. That would ruin the whole "regeneration" cliff hanger.... Unless they dont show the doctor at all?
Ashley Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Then again that would mean Ten died because he didn't look both ways while crossing the street on a post/apocalyptic Dalek infested earth. Which is fairly silly. lol. One way to teach kids to look both ways!
