ZeldaFreak Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I would of bought one on day one -but need to see the list of bc games. Also it would of been nice to have a game like Heavenly sword on day one.
MasterYoda Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I hope I'll be able to afford a PS3 at launch, since it'll be 720 euros here while the normal price is 600 euros. Not likely though. But I want one for Motorstorm and Resistance, which will both be fantastic launch titles. If I get a PS3 at launch I'm buying one of them or both.
Owen Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I'm buying one if Shenmue III is an exclusive. I reckon if thats released it will come out on 360, and only 360. I have a feeling!
Aimless Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Here's some more Heavenly Sword footage, plus a look behind the scenes of the facial animation. Looks impressive, but I wonder what makes this game more than 'Goddess of War', as from a gameplay standpoint it looks very similar. Hopefully it turns out to be more than Kratos with some lippy on.
Domstercool Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yeah Heavenly Sword looks like a female Kratos. Not that I'll actually complain about that. Won't have Motorstorm until a few days later. I've got to wait for the game to arrive to me from Canada.
Aimless Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I think the PSP need more killer games PS2 ports like this. Fixed. Yes, I have my cynical hat on. I'm pretty interested in getting a PSP now there's a good collection of games out for it, but I'm kind of waiting for any news on a redesign. UMD has pretty much died as a format — surprise, surprise — so I'm interested to hear whether Sony will release a new PSP with some kind of solid-state memory instead. I'm not saying it will happen, it would just make sense considering the inroads they're making vis-a-vis downloadable games on PS3.
Domstercool Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 UMD for movies has died yes. For games though it's fine and won't change until a PSP2 comes out.
Stocka Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I'm buying one if Shenmue III is an exclusive. Ditto big bro' I may get one anyway though, but not yet.
Tailzo Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I'm buying one if Shenmue III is an exclusive. We agree. Shenmue III would make me buy any console.
Dante Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Capcom is pleased to announce that Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for the PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system (referred to below as the PSP® system) has shipped more than 1 million units in Japan. The second installment has managed to outperform even the popular first game to reach one million shortly after release. With the release of the Best Edition of the first Monster Hunter Freedom, the first game is also expected to exceed one million in the near future. Combined, these two titles make the Monster Hunter Freedom series the strongest game series on the PSP® system in Japan as of March 6th, 2007. The popular Monster Hunter series of action games puts the player in the role of a fearless hunter roaming the great outdoors tracking down gigantic beasts. Players can tackle the adventure alone or join friends over a network for team cooperative action. Since the first Monster Hunter's console release in March 2004, it cumulatively shipped over 3.7 million copies around the world as of March 6th, 2007, and has been honored with numerous awards, securing a place as one of Capcom's premier titles. Capcom has been working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. in order to expand sales of the popular series. One result is the special Monster Hunter PSP® system bundle which includes a special color edition PSP® system, the game Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and other original goods. This and other promotional efforts have helped to spur sales. In addition to console versions, a pre-installed mobile phone game and trading cards are planned at the beginning of April as part of Capcom's one content, multi-use business strategy. Capcom will continue to strive to develop new and original games that appeal to a broad audience around the globe. capcom.co.jp
ZeldaFreak Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yeah and Capcom announced its coming out in Europe in September - search Eurogamer if you want it to be confirmed as a source. I need to invest in a psp now.
Calza Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I need to invest in a psp now. That it is the best oxymoron I've ever heard. I want to get one for Lumines but I don't know if even that is worth it...
Domstercool Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Can't go wrong with having both Lumines games, EEE and MGS: PO!
