McMad Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Well considering the word 'Lightning' is exclaimed in those scans I'm going to guess that the word is now confirmed to be the lead woman's name as it was rumoured before.
KKOB Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 i just thought a female lead in a main FF game . . . its been a while eh? lol
mcj metroid Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Fixed it for you haha i actually lolled.hey i can sustain an argument.Truth is i don't know enough about the ps3 to defend it or bash it properly.i don't like console bashing really.unless it's the n gage or jaguar The PSP is gonna sell even better now that the ps1 emu is hacked. This means that the PSP has plenty of great games on it, like the original Metal Gear Solid™ really?Hm that's interesting.i might even consider that now. When it has it's next price drop i might consider that.
Goron_3 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 The PSP is pretty much dead though, as NGamer point out it's being outsold by the DS in the UK by a ratio of 2.5:1 That was kind of cruel. Saying the PSP is dead is going abit toooooo far. It's still selling and has got some new games on the horizon. Yes the DS is destroying it, but it's still selling alright.

This means that the PSP has plenty of great games on it, like the original Metal Gear Solidâ„¢ Not that many people will buy it because of that. Most of the gaming market is based on little kids buying it for fifa.
dabookerman Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Not that many people will buy it because of that. Most of the gaming market is based on little kids buying it for fifa. Aye, tis a shame that :_;
That Guy Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Aren't they the equivelent of little kids?
McMad Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Aren't they the equivelent of little kids? Yes, the equivelent to little kids that have violence issues and like to spit on other people.
That Guy Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 It's such a shame to think Polar Bears might die out before chavs. :|
KKOB Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 It's such a shame to think Polar Bears might die out before chavs. :| Pandas too :cry:
DiemetriX Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Sooo.. any one got PS1 games working on their PSP? I think that will be my project for tomorow FF7 and FF tactics on the go <3
Meik Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Yes, I currently have FF7 Disc 1, FF9 Disc 1, MGS, Castlevania SOTN and Abe's Oddysee on mine. It's all very good.
MasterYoda Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Yeah, Gran Turismo 2 works. Haven't bothered with any others. Meik, if you finish the first Final Fantasy VII/IX disc, let us know if you can continue playing with the second disc, or if this emulator has a big flaw. If multi-disk games do work, Final Fantasy VII/VIII here I come!
Domstercool Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Well Final Fantasy lets you save before changing disc anyway. So it doesn't matter!
Meik Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Yeah, from what i've read the FF games work fine for disc changing. Games like Chrono Cross present a problem though, as you can't save before you change.
ZeldaFreak Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 It's such a shame to think Polar Bears might die out before chavs. :| don't really understand what you mean there
fanman Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Sooo.. any one got PS1 games working on their PSP?I think that will be my project for tomorow FF7 and FF tactics on the go <3 I still only have a 32mb memory card, so it's not worth trying for me.
Hero-of-Time Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Probably be old but what the hell Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops has received rave reviews since its release in the USA late last year, and that coupled with comments made by an assistant producer suggest a sequel is definitely on the way. Ryan Payton, who admits the PSP game screwed up his social life, told the PSM podcast: "If it's successful on the retail level there will definitely be a sequel." "Just on a personal level that's something I really, really want to do," he added. Konami hasn't said anything specific about a sequel, but having shifted the Metal Gear portable titles away from card-battling toward real-time endeavours, an upturn in critical fortune and sales is unlikely to go unacknowledged. Portable Ops is due out in Europe this year, although Konami's yet to announce a specific release date.
dabookerman Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Probably be old but what the hell Sequel = win. But what part of the timeline?
immy Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 don't really understand what you mean there eh? if you read the post above you will
