Dufniall Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Basically when you play during the event period (from Friday 8th of January 8:00 CET until Tuesday 12th of January 07:59 CET) you score points by playing. The higher you end the more points you get. If you collect 100 points you get to keep the theme. A Tetris Maximus 1st place immediately gives you 100 points, but you can also play multiple games to accumulate them.

Expand No, you don't understand, he didn't just achieve Maximus, he achieved Invictus. When you first win a Tetris 99 match, you unlock another mode that only people who have won a match can play. It gets insanely fast over there. Notice how the Tetrininos are instantly at the bottom in his vid? So only really good players can get in. And he just won a match there. darksnowman Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Just unlocked the new theme after four or five intense rounds, and got myself up to level 40 in doing so. The music in this one really makes you want to slam down the blocks as fast as you can! 1
