And on donut plains, I looked behind me, just incase the guy behind had a green shell.. track was clear, switched to front view to take the corner, immediately got hit by a green shell Apart from that, and some terrible mistakes on my part, very fun racing tonight, most of it was very tight! nekunando Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 (edited) I feel like I had a strong night in Mario Kart 8, despite a couple of needless mistakes Apart from stalling at the start of Dragon Driftway and inexplicably turning into the very first corner of Mute City the wrong way (not even sure how that happened ) I was pretty happy with my performance My only victory of the night came via a harsh blue shell on a scarily impressive @The Mole whilst I was lurking behind him in second.. something which I had to do in awe several times throughout the night I managed to shaft other people right at the line on a couple of races, something @RedShell will hopefully pick up in his highlight reel, and was generally content with the ground I made up on the races where I did have poor starts, particularly given some of the poor weapons I got at times further down the ranks. Are coins really what you need when you're in 5th place..? One thing I could definitely improve on, though, is my ability to pick up points on the tracks I'm not fond of.
