I did flubit it. Buttt, I've sent the email already saying that it's borked. They've already replied, saying that they'll contact the supplier. They've done that too and they've sent me the email with what I need to do. I need to print off two labels or something, attach it to the box and take it to a collectplus point, which is a newsagents near me. So, not bad. I might hang on to it until Saturday, as I've got a mate who will be coming around, so I'll keep it in case we do play some Sonic racing or something. Or TEKKEEEN. After that, I'll send it back and get it replaced.

Fierce_LiNk Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 As for the whole Wiimote condom stuff: Nothing touches my motes apart from my hands. Those condom jackets are anus.
f00had Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I leave the jackets on my Wii remotes because this one time I was playing Wii Sports and bashed a kid right in the head with the remote, if it wasn't for that then he'd have been in serious trouble! I was tempted to order a Wii U Pro Controller but I bought a Pink Wii Remote instead I'm gonna try Flubitting the Pro Controller again and see if they can give me a better deal than last time.

Aside from my LED failure, the controller itself is lovely. The best thing about it...the analogues are in the right bluddy place! It's so light, too.

The only thing I can think of that hinders it is it's lack of analogue triggers. Aside from that, it's great. My favourite controller is still the Wiimote and Nunchuk, though.

Don't worry, Kids are fine. The missus cracked our first born square on the bonce whilst playing Wii Sports Bowling. No harm done, little one is fine.

-Dem0- Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I think it's the first time I've properly watched a video from this guy. It was an entertaining 12 minutes.

Mokong Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I too enjoyed that and it was also my first time watching him or even hearing of him
Clownferret Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 i was playing some TW 12 on the Wii last night and it reminded of the golf game that was being shown on Wii U where you lay the gamepad on the floor and the screen shows the lie of the ball and you swing with the wiimote... what game was this, as far as I can tell there are no golf games either released or scheduled for Wii U so what was the demo?

Probably some kind of teaser somebody knocked up in a few hours/days. I'm sure that there were one or two of those shown during the Wiiremote's video unveiling that did the same.
Ike Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I join the superior battery life race today as my my Gamepad battery arrived today. (The box is tiny by the way, all the photos I've seen were very misleading) It does add a bit of weight, but nothing much. Will get used to it after a bit of use. Don't really mind for some extra battery life.
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 @Ike, how much more extra life to the pad does that give? Well, something extraordinary happened today. I posted a few days ago about my Pro Controller not working. I bought it from Amazon via Flubit and was sad to see that the player 2 LED wasn't working. So, I contacted their support and was told that the supplier would be willing to send a replacement. I was given stuff to print off and told to send it back, etc, etc. I haven't got around to sending it back yet, because I've got a friend coming around on Saturday and there's potential Wii U fun times. Around noon-time, I see the postman making his way past my window with a big package in tow. I thought that Ine must have been buying loads of stuff again, probably on dresses or something. It turns out that the package had my name on it, which left me a bit confused because I hadn't ordered anything. Package was quickly opened up. I found TWO boxed Wii U Pro Controllers inside. Two of the fuckers. I'm stunned to shit at this point. I'm looking through the box for some sort of idea of why I've got two and all I find are two pieces of paper stating that these are 2 Wii U Pro Controllers. Not invoices, but order confirmations or something. The date is the 13th, so the day I contacted their support about my broken Pro Controller. So...have they sent a replacement out early? Why the extra controller? To say sorry? Umm...don't they usually send the replacements AFTER getting the original back? It's still on my coffee table. Wot da faqqqqqq?
Ike Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Fierce_LiNk said: @Ike, how much more extra life to the pad does that give? Bigger battery gives 5 - 8 hours. Amazon are good with returns/replacements and I think they do send the replacement without you needing to return it. Never had to replace anything from Amazon myself but they resent a missing order straight away. Not sure why they sent 2, maybe something to do with Flubit?
gmac Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 maybe they misread what you were saying and thought you meant 2 controllers were broken rather than just the player 2 LED wasn't working. Best not to open the second one until you've contacted them again incase they want it back :p

dazzybee Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Happened tome a few times with various companies. I NEVER send the item back I'm supposed to when they do this, I've never had any comeback from this.
Dcubed Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Small Miiverse update! Not sure when it happened but you can now enter text using the Wii Remote, using an onscreen keyboard. Hopefully that'll also come to the web browser when that system update hits, cause I like using the Wii Remote to browse the net (while you're at it, a way to open/close the tabs using the Wiimote would be nice...)
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I'm still planning on sending the faulty one back. But yes, still confusion. I've still not received an email or anything about this. I'm not going to send the "spare one" back just yet, unless they specifically ask for it. For all I know, it could be a gesture or apology for the first one turning up faulty. Which is what my initial reaction was anyway.
Mokong Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 \Send back the faulty one make no mention of the two new ones you got and see if they then repair the faulty one/send you out a 3rd one

I'm already feeling guilty as fuck. I'm the type who gets nervous asking money back from people who owe me it, that sorta thing. :p
