hehe coolness you should ask me on msn if you need help, I'm no expert but I'm sure raining will help too.

Your hair because it grows will naturally grow out the hair colour, depending on the dye and how much washes and stuff it'll grow fast or slow.

Black tends to take a long long time to grow out.

I dye myself yes, but you could go to a hairdresser (who specialises in dying) for first time bleaching if you aren't confident.

@ell you have blonde hair, you could basically go any colour!

I'm very much here if anybody wants to ask really, and my MSN is on my profile :)

Cool! :awesome:

If you dye it yourself what are the best products to use? are they expensive? and is it hard to do?

Though i might just use a specialist but do they cost a lot? :)

Also Raining_again what's been your favourite hair Colour?

With your hair being black you would probably have to bleach it for nearly any colour. You just need bleach and the colour dye. If you got short hair you would only need one bottle, a fiver for the bleach and similar price for the colour.

its evil trying to do it yourself! help is very handy ^_____^

I think seen as you have black hair you would look awesome with streaks through it! take advantage of that awesome black hair! I want black hair too :(

Favourite colour has definitely got to be the pink, it was awesome. Although a lot of people have said i suit the white, I generally stick with that (and its less hassle!)

When I first did mine with Blond highlights. I had it done with a specialist (also my hairdresser), but she's especially expensive 9Head colourist in an award-winning salon...my mum's scared of normal people, and insists I go there), and the second time when it was jokingly half blond, half silver.

It's been black for almost a year now, and I kinda want a change. I might get a joke green bit.

I think maybe once I'm done with school, I might try colouring my hair. Though nothing too fancy/bright. =P

I think that you'd do well with using natural colours but to a contrasting kind of effect. Does that make any sense? So take advatage of all of the shades and tones of brown, red, blonde and black.

Bang on! (She got style this one...)

Thankyou mr jamba sir ^___^

Very subtle highlights would suit you if your scared of anything dramatic, and the roots aren't very noticeable when they grow out (thus cheaper)

Also! The best part... they bring out the natural awesomeness of your hair.

/obsession with hair

(this is why I want to become a hairdresser)

I have blonde hair! thats the problem, I can't see myself being any other colour :(

I should pick one out of a hat. Or just go ginger :p

A friend of mine (female) is of funny ethnicity, like you can trace east asian, but then also some strya spanish, then british. Anyway, she's really stunning, and has crazy l'oreal hair. She's the first person I've ever met who wouldn't suit ANY other colour.

(Though i'd laugh if she dyed it maroon*

I love how he dodged the question. I have also noticed this attribute in Dante.

I never came back here and I never notice that Jamba was asking me a question.

Sorry man, that was kind of a question. Do you have problems or is English not your first language or what? Would it help if people picked up on it or would that just annoy you?

I have little problems with my english and yes I am english.

We should start a thread in which people can ask for and give out fashion/hair advice. =P

I would kinda want one of those cool make-overs they constantly do on tv. New clothes and hair and everything. Would be awesome since I lack decent fashion knowledge. X3

I've just thought a really dark green hair colour would look really awesome. A green that you can tell it is but it aint extravagant. I'm gonna look into that.

Does dyed hair look odd on men? :)

Dyed hair can look like a lot of different things - some people agree with it, some people think it's a bit sad. I'm indifferent; It can look cool, but at the same time look like you're trying too hard to make a statement, or be something you're not.

As long as you're not subservient to how others view you and make a choice based on your own identity, then dooooo it :)

They do that kinda thing in blue, where it's like black-blue, and shines navy in the light. There might be something like that in green. It's a good idea actually.

My sister's friend (Lou Lou) dyed her hair navy blue a while ago.

It looked good at first, then it didn't after a while.
