Pokemon Black & White 2 info??

Confirmation of Pikmin3 & Mario Wii-U at e3?

Basically a recap of stuff we're already aware of....

And some things we aren't aware of. It's great they're doing this as not everyone spends half the day soaking up videogame rumors and news. It's just people with ridiculous expectations who'll inevitably end up disappointed (like the last three times or so :p).

I expect a Mario Tennis information, as that's on the immediate 3DS release schedule.

Interesting to see that NOE is getting their own separate version this time. EU specific announcements? Localisation details? (MONSTER HUNTER 3G!?)

ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!!!11!

Well, each Nintendo Direct has always had some new announcements, be it new games or release dates, so I'd expect something new here. A Fire Emblem EU release date (and possibly release dates for Luigi's Mansion 2, Animal Crossing 3DS and Paper Mario) isn't too unlikely.

Edit: It seems that the new trailers are going to be uploaded to the eShop (presumably with the 3DS ones in 3D)

Afterwards, we'll upload all the trailers shown during the presentation to our European Nintendo Direct website - including some extended versions of the digests presented by Satoru Shibata.

Later you'll also be able to watch the videos on Nintendo eShop

http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/2011/tune_in_saturday_at_1pm_cet_for_the_next_nintendo_direct_49478.html

Also, according to the UK site blurb, this video is focused on 3DS and Wii only, so don't expect anything about Wii U here. Though, this part did catch my eye...

and on our YouTube channels Nintendo3DSuk and NintendoWiiuk.

So they've got some Wii games to show for EU? Could we possibly be getting trailers other than Project Zero 2 and BTBRhythm Paradise? (Possible surprise localisations? - Kiki Trick!?)

So, Nintendo is actually starting to use new media formats in a sensible manner. These streamed video conferences/recapitulations are quiet nice in itself, but now they're also going to live tweet it.

They did that last time too (that's actually where we heard about Project Zero 2 and Spirit Camera coming to EU - for some bizzare reason, it wasn't mentioned in the video)

I expect we'll a June or July release date announced for either Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 2 or Paper Mario, and hopefully a European date for Heroes of Ruin, along with new details on the online side of the game. Layton 5 details for the USA too maybe, seeing as the professor doesn't get much, if any stage time at E3?

Ahh, good point! I forgot about that.

Unless they're saving it for E3 (like they did with Last Specter) now would be a good time to announce its release date.

Animal Crossing and Paper Mario are probably Q3/Q4 releases. Luigi's Mansion has the highest chance of having a release date announced. Of course I won't mind if I'm wrong ;)

Well said @Serebii, I was wondering about Conquest. perfect chance to announce its PAL release date. I primarily want some dates for Heroes of Ruin, Paper Mario & Luigi's Mansion. perhaps we could also see a date for Fire Emblem: Awakening?

Nicked this from GAF

Japanese event is at 4 AM for me, Nice. I can wake up to the JPN event video and then watch the EU one right afterwards :D

Pokémon Conquest may get its European reveal here

I would've thought that likely too, but they did specifically mention that this event is about "new info, trailers and other news about the latest games - as well as titles coming up on the horizon - for Nintendo 3DS and Wii" (no mention of DS), so I'm not expecting any DS/DSi announcements here myself.

They said that about the last one, but Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition still had a small focus within it

Oh really? Well I'm glad to be wrong in this case! :yay:

I wonder if we'll get any details on B&W2's US/EU release date? (considering that they don't usually make any Pokemon related announcements at E3)

If they're keeping the DS alive for a little longer, please let Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem come along with Pokemon!

Localisation announcements do come at E3. We'll likely get a release month pinpointed then, but a full on US/EU release date? No.

Typically, the Nintendo Direct stuff deals with the next 3 months

:D Sign me up for that game :D

I have my fingers crossed for Advance Wars 3DS, too:love:

Was this guy present when they revealed all sorts of stuff for the 3DS last year?

I can't remember a Satoru Shibata.....and I would've because his name also has 'Satoru' in it.

Animal Crossing is #1 on my wish list for this, but I'm really not expecting it as it'll no doubt be a Q4 or later game. I guess out of what's likely to be revealed, I'm most looking forward to Rhythm Paradise and Luigi's Mansion, which I'm expecting to come out before the summer.

That would be so sweet. :)

But I also think it'll end up being a Q4 title, unfortunately. :(

I'm actually hoping that this Nintendo Direct will finally give us a European release date for Sakura Samurai. :hmm:

Good to see they're having another one, so certain things can potentially be addressed, leaving E3 for the huge stuff! ;) Ah, what the heck, I'll just put out what I want to see and hope for the best: :heh: :

Details/release dates for:

Animal Crossing

Luigi's Mansion 2

Paper Mario

European localisations for:

Code of Princess

Rocket Slime 3

Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy

Etrian Odyssey IV

Virtual Console releases for:

Dragon Warrior 1-3

Shantae

Oracle of Ages

Oracle of Seasons

SNES and GBA added to VC

...And watch as none of it happens. ;)

Apparantly, Iwata sent the following letter to the Japanese 3DS owners with letterbox announcing the conference.

nintendo_direct_april_swapnote.jpg

Some think that, because he's holding a Kirby, there'll be a Kirby-related announcement as well.

Or it's a hint to a Sakurai-related announcement

Or he just likes Kirby....:blank:

I surely welcome adding a 6th Kirby game to the 5 Kirby games I have in my backlog.

I know, I do not do my avatar justice....:nono:

Well I guess we can knock off one of those possible Wii trailers, now that it has already been released on the official site (Project Zero 2)

That means that either this EU Nintendo Direct video will be featuring only one Wii trailer (Beat the Beat Rhythm Paradise), or there are some Wii surprises coming our way!
