MadDog Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Really enjoyed it Peeps, very well done. Was obvious Nintendohnut was the last mafia, his voting record reeked.
Diageo Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Well the fact that the mafia put all their eggs into one basket with the Heroic lynch just highlighted all of them and so we didn't need a write-up and it was still easy. If the mafia had played better then I think this game may have been really difficult.
Jimbob Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Awesome game Peeps, very well done indeed. Another nice win for the town (and me as well). Very well played everyone. My entire target list is as follows EEVIL - Targetted by Yvonne this night Rummy - Prevented from reaching him because of hail Dohnut - Heavy fog prevented me from reaching target MadDog - Blown off-course, no idea who i got in the end. But they were not targetted Aqui1a - No-one targetted him on the night i targetted him DuD - Blocked by fog (again)
The Peeps Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 Go back to see DuD's lynching. I specifically say 'intense heat' :p The mafia did not know that majority would be lowered to stop them getting majority early so they thought they were playing for the win when none of them voted on herojan. In hindsight I should have told them :p
Diageo Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I thought you meant we all created an intense heat to lynch him.
ReZourceman Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I was awesome in this game. Some of towns targets were pathetic. Some of towns lack of will to do anything was pathetic. But this was an awesome game.
Nintendohnut Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Yeah none of us voted for heroic because we thought we had won the day before. With heroics vote negating power we should've pretty much had majority. Peeps decided to change the majority to give the town a chance. Sadly, he didnt tell us he was doing this until after he had already done it. As our strategy had pretty much revolved around keeping heroic alive by not voting for him, it screwed us so hard in the ass that there was no coming back from it. Still, it was fun for the most part.
Yvonne Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Aw I thought someone had a majority reduction power (come to think of it, that's the perfect foil for a vote negation)
heroicjanitor Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I found it absolutely fucking hilarious when I decided to go all out to save Dohnut with vote-changing pms Town just fell apart and I was switching the vote every minute or something. Fun game, a highlight of mafias for me, but I suppose you had to be there. i.e. be me :p
Yvonne Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 oh we were there! that was like 3-4 pages of thread in two hours...certainly one way to keep activity up
Diageo Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Eevilmurray was town right? If he wasn't being thick we would have had majority without the majority reduction.
EddieColeslaw Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I found it absolutely fucking hilarious when I decided to go all out to save Dohnut with vote-changing pms Town just fell apart and I was switching the vote every minute or something. Fun game, a highlight of mafias for me, but I suppose you had to be there. i.e. be me :p I loved that too, everyone was falling apart while we observed the chaos
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Eevilmurray was town right? If he wasn't being thick we would have had majority without the majority reduction. I wasn't convinced, simple as.
The Peeps Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 Out of interest, why did my protection of Smeagol fail? The mafia could cancel protections. Full role coming later. I made the mafia powerful but most of them had suspicious powers meaning they faced as much danger from rez as they did from smeagol
The Peeps Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Tonight after work :p Mafia Fog - Eddie Coleslaw: - Redirect your target to a player of your choice, no one can reach targeted player. Cloud - heroicjanitor - Hide a player’s alignmentControl a player’s vote for the day (give them a double vote, negative vote, force their vote, etc etc) Appear good Hail - Nintendohnut - Roleblock Humidity - DuD - Make your target sweat – they appear evil.Target cannot be protected You will discover your target’s form of weather Town Thunder - Rummy - roleblock Lightning - Frag Grimes - power booster Mist - Cube - Protection Rain - Jimbob - reverse track – as you fall down upon your target you will see anyone who targets them Snow - mr-paul - track – player is thrown as a snowball at the target and follows actions Tornado - MadDog - pick two targets and anyone targeting one will target the other instead Rainbow - ReZourceman - Your multicoloured rays will pierce your target, revealing their abilities Sunshine - Sméagol - a bright light shines down on your target, illuminating their alignment Wind - Diageo - you will blow players away from your target, protecting them from danger (roleblocks and kills only) Calm - Yvonne - You will form a ‘weatherless’ area around your target allowing them to be seen clearly by anyone targeting them – players will reach your target despite redirections, all information discovered about the target will be correct Frost - EEVILMURRAY - freeze your target to the spot, preventing them from moving all night Wind - Aqui1a - you will blow your target towards another target of your choice Edited May 8, 2012 by The Peeps Automerged Doublepost
ReZourceman Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Awesome, simple roles with cool expalantions. Great game.
Frag Grimes Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Sorry I went inactive towards the end! Was super fun for my first mafia though, really enjoyed it!
heroicjanitor Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Felt really bad killing Rez and Yvonne, but we had to do it to have any chance after I was lynched. They won it for town really.
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Awesome, simple roles with cool expalantions. Great game. Less posting in finished mafias. More posting in open mafias.
