Ashley Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Let's say we're paying homage to a late-in-life Nintendo console; occasionally some highlights but largely random and inconsistent. 2
Hero-of-Time Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Forum seems to be running worse than than ever today. It was fine early hours this morning (5-6am) but from half 10 onwards its been taking me well over a minute to load up any topic.
Dcubed Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Yeah, it's proper mollasses right now. That spanner is thoroughly jammed into the forum's gears
Ashley Posted June 12 Posted June 12 And it's perfectly fine for me now (but not looked the last few hours)
Dcubed Posted June 12 Posted June 12 It's definitely better now than it was earlier, it was torture before! Hopefully the site stays in a good mood now...

Fingers crossed!
Hero-of-Time Posted June 13 Posted June 13 It's been running terribly this morning. Took me 3 minutes just to open this topic. I've replied to a couple of topics but no idea if they have even been uploaded correctly as both were stuck on the loading screen for ages.
Dcubed Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Yup.... we're.... right.......... ba....ck... in... the doldrums....
Ike Posted June 13 Posted June 13 It was fast this morning at around 7am, 41 guests at the time It dead slow now and there's only 17 guests on.
Ashley Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Yeah I don't think there is a direct correlation between guests and speed. There may be an indirect one (i.e. if the server itself is being hit hard then more guests won't help) but I don't think its a case of more guest = slower.

I don’t this so as right now, just after 6pm it’s running pretty smoothly and there are around 175 guests. where like other said this morning it was like swimming through treacle. 1

Would suck if it plays up during the potential upcoming Direct, too. When else am I supposed to complain about Chrono Trigger not being on the Switch yet?!

Ashley Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Just a small update that I've spoken to Shorty and we've decided to purchase more server space and upgrade the forums as we're behind on that. Unsure of timelines yet as it needs to work around his job but seems like the best course of action. 3 4

Right now (5 members, 3 anonymous and 16 guests) and it's atrocious. It's literally taking over a minute, close to 90 seconds to open any thread. Just to open the Notification thingy it took close to a minute to do it.
