MadDog Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 They didn't book it to have sex. They were visiting one of their mums.
flameboy Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 He goes to my dad's casino from time to time and that's basically what he says happened. She had sex with Clayton and then he asked if could join in to which she said yes...but thats what the courts believe. It seems ridiculous that evidence such as the fact that she was slurring her words when she spoke to the receptionist is used as evidence against Ched Evans for his guilt...so she was drunk then and could consent to sex with Clayton McDonald before seemingly becoming too drunk to consent with Evans immediately afterwards....It has been reported that there was no evidence of violence or injury so it makes you wonder because it's clear he didn't force himself violently on her.
Ellmeister Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 @Wii who do you support? @Wii who do you support? @Wii who do you support? @Wii who do you support? @Wii who do you support?
MadDog Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Obviously Spurs. Don't worry, I'd be embarrassed aswell. :p
Platty Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 The Ched Evans case is a strange one. The jury would have had to have been 100% sure he raped her to make him guilty. If there is any doubt, even 1% doubt in their minds then they have to make him not guilty. From everything I have read I don't know how they could be 100% (I'm well aware that we wont ever hear all the evidence). Looks like the jury wasn't 100% about the other chap? She was drunk but still happy to go back to the hotel with him? if she wasn't happy to go back and was forced back to have sex then why wasn't the other chap sent down too as he was the one that took her to the hotel? Must be more to it evidence wise. Rape is horrible and if the girl clearly felt she was raped and managed to prove it to the jury then I have full faith they made the right decision. I'm more confused how the other chap got off?
Emerald Emblem Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Well that was a disappointing match. You could tell Chelsea were always going to settle for a point, the Arsenal front line are really beginning to lack any clinical edge. 6 points and playing 2 games more than Newcastle and Spurs, we'll likely be reeled back in.
nekunando Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Hiya Champions League. Haha.. I hope you make it
Wii Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Again, another team that should have been more clinical against Chelsea. Hit the post twice, had all the chances. You could tell by the way they played that Chelsea are really banking on winning the Champions League to qualify for next season. That dream will be smashed next Tuesday night. I can't wait.
Wii Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Going watching proper football now. Viva La Barcelona!
Emerald Emblem Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Hiya Championship. Come on, you gotta fancy your chances against Spurs now surely. Quite pessimistic aren't we? :P
dan-likes-trees Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Oh my shit, Spurs. The fuck was THAT? That was dreadful. They've looked completely average for the past month and a bit. Not even sure why. Watched the Spurs game and the Ars Chelsea match earlier. A mighty dull 3 hours of my life.
Ramar Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Going watching proper football now. Viva La Barcelona! Incoming: Madrid didn't deserve to win.
Charlie Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 That was dreadful. They've looked completely average for the past month and a bit. Not even sure why. Watched the Spurs game and the Ars Chelsea match earlier. A mighty dull 3 hours of my life. I think their poor run of form matches up with when Capello resigned. I'm pretty sure there's a stat to that effect too.
ipaul Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Fourth place yessss. Only 3 off 3rd with a game in hand? Good times.
Ramar Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Fourth place yessss. Only 3 off 3rd with a game in hand? Good times. Your final few fixtures are tough, hopefully you can hold onto fourth. (Stay away from 3rd... please)
Wii Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Incoming: Madrid didn't deserve to win. I hate to say it but if any team deserved winning it wasn't Barca. They look tired. Their passing wasn't as fluid as it usually is. Iniesta was poor. The squad is stretched. Alexis should have been on earlier. Telo was poor. He's too young and inexperienced. Centre pairing is too strange though I think Mascherano has done well considering it's not his position. Why isn't Pique on the field? I don't know did people see Alves marking Ronaldo for a corner? Wrong!! Ronaldo just confirmed he's an asshole tonight with his goal celebration. Telling the crowd to be quiet and pointing at himself like yeah I'm the man. It's no wonder he's despised, arrogance isn't an admirable trait. Tell me have you ever seen Messi act like Ronaldo in general, let alone his goal celebrations? There are reasons why Messi has respect of the media and the world. He doesn't throw shapes around the field and isn't big headed. Still don't know what attacked him to make him roll around like he did last night. We didn't see the bad side of Madrid last night. No need to when, unless you're losing. All the bad tempered games have been when Madrid are losing. Barca have class and know how to lose with dignity.
Platty Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Well Ronaldo quite frankly is the man. 54 goals in 50 appearances this season and 140 in 139 appearances for Madrid since he joined. Not bad for a winger...in my mind Ronaldo can be as arrogant as he wants and celebrate how ever he likes and indeed call himself "the man". And before you start, I know Messi's stats are better with 63 goals in 54 appearances. The difference with Barca and Real this year is that most of Barca's goals have come from Messi. They have no one else (sanchez has 11). Whereas Madrid have a Higuain and Benzema with goals in the 20's which is probably why they are top of the league at the minute. Messi and Ronaldo are just ridiculous.
Wii Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Great result for Everton. Now come on City, do your bit.
Emerald Emblem Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 The Manchester Derby may yet take on a greater significance than ever in deciding the title race. Couldn't believe the scoreline when checking after the Bahrain GP ended. Good on Everton.
