-Dem0- Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It's 2-1 to wigan @ipaul unless you meant something else.
nekunando Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Ah, Liverpool.. helping teams avoid relegation since 2007
-Dem0- Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Arteta scored a great free-kick. Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villa. keep on going you Gooners!
spirited away Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I remember when MadDog said that he didn't see Tottenham as a threat to Liverpool's Champions League challenge. Lololololol.
Dog-amoto Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Great result for us. A very tough week for Bolton, capped off with a fitting performance for Muamba. Though it's been slightly soured by that strong whiff of shit blowing in from the Merseyside area. FFS Liverpool!
-Dem0- Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 That's Liverpool's 2nd Home defeat this season to... Wigan... BPL continues to amaze, this is a terrible result for Liverpool that is.
ipaul Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It's 2-1 to wigan @ipaul unless you meant something else. No no that's what I meant, as in: Wigan are 2-1 up?! Come on and keep the lead! That sort of thing
MadDog Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 1 good thing, Raheem Sterling came on and made an impact. The rest can just fuck off. Well done Wigan, always liked them, and did themselves proud today.
gmac Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I remember when MadDog said that he didn't see Tottenham as a threat to Liverpool's Champions League challenge. Lololololol. well technically he was right, just not in the way he hoped
MadDog Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Spurs are just a club punching above their weight. You'll be back to mediocrity soon enough.
Mr-Paul Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 8 points clear of Chelsea now. Loving it. Would love to see them/Newcastle nick 4th off Spurs on the last day of the season :p Also, met 4 proper Arsenal legends last night - Bob Wilson, Sammy Nelson, Ray Parlour and Nigel Winterburn. Parlour is bloody hilarious. Constant jokes about his ex-wife stealing all his money.
Charlie Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 (edited) Spurs are just a club punching above their weight. You'll be back to mediocrity soon enough. Looking likely they'll be qualifying for the Champions League for the 2nd season out of 3. Wouldn't say they're punching above their weight, they're exactly where they're meant to be. Title party potential at Ibrox tomorrow as Motherwell dropped points today! Very, very big possibility that Celtic will win the league tomorrow as Rangers are dreadful. It will be a riot if they do. Looking forward to some fiery tempers throughout the game! Edited March 24, 2012 by Charlie Automerged Doublepost
dazzybee Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Spurs are just a club punching above their weight. You'll be back to mediocrity soon enough. So much bitterness. Liverpool are absolute dross and lucky to win the cup. Daglish just isn't good enough. Neither is Commoli, spending insane amounts of money on average players. It's hilarious to see from the outside, but must be frustrating from the inside. And Spurs, punching above our weight? In what way. We barely spend any money, spend half of other clubs around us in wages, and have some of the best players in the league. We should be applauded for it, but all the bitter fans of the "old top 4" can't take it. Well Liverpool fans in particular should get used to it.
MadDog Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 What do i have to be bitter about? You're talking asif you're guarenteed 4th. What if you finish 5th or even lower? We would both be in the Europa League, but we will have a cup, maybe even 2. There's still 8 games left, and 2 gigantic cup games for us. Alot can happen in that time.
dazzybee Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 True. Spurs could get 4th and win the fa cup, liverpool could finish 10th! Or spurs finish 5th (not lower, that's just silly) and Liverpool get the cup double. But looking at our last 8 games, it'd have to be a massive disaster not to finish 4th at least, though I genuinely believe 3rd. FA cup is where it gets interested. London derby, scouse derby - great semi finals (don't ruin that Bolton)!
darksnowman Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 True. Spurs could get 4th and win the fa cup, liverpool could finish 10th! LOL! ... ... Such a real possibility.
Ramar Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 And Spurs, punching above our weight? In what way. Ramar Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It's like the one Henry scored against United in 2000 at Highbury. Sensational.
khilafah Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 shocking performance at anfield. Henderson once again showed what a joke of a player he is. Downing poor again! Big changes are needed in the summer. At least 4 new players have to come in as the current lot are trash!
Fierce_LiNk Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 That Crouch goal is better than the one Henry scored. What you don't see in the video is that the ball originally comes from a goal kick. It doesn't touch the ground from the goal-kick until it goes in. Anyway, Liverpool result doesn't shock me. Average team, exactly where they should be in the league. Swansea and Norwich are newly promoted teams and are 3 points behind them.
MadDog Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 shocking performance at anfield. Henderson once again showed what a joke of a player he is. Downing poor again! Big changes are needed in the summer. At least 4 new players have to come in as the current lot are trash! Downing was less garbage than the rest tbh. He's definitely improving. But yeah, keep the positivity up and keep on supporting the players...
dazzybee Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Spurs barely spend? That's just not right. Our net spend over the past couple of years is incredibly low. The past transfer windows we got 3 freebies, 1 loan and 5million on Parker. That's it.
