Pit-Jr Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 The only thing these idiots are doing is pushing lawmakers to take the anonymity and neutrality away from the internet. Itll happen sooner or later but these morons are just speeding up the process.
Goafer Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Lulzsec have now attacked CIA and 4Chan. As in the CIA? As in the Central Intelligence Agency? As in the people who's job it is to catch people like this? Dumb. As. Fuck. Let's see how funny that logo is when it's wearing an orange jumpsuit.
Dante Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 As in the CIA? As in the Central Intelligence Agency? As in the people who's job it is to catch people like this? Dumb. As. Fuck. Let's see how funny that logo is when it's wearing an orange jumpsuit. Yes, they have attack them.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Jesus Christ, they really are just out to cause trouble and be smug about it, aren't they?
Cube Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 As in the CIA? As in the Central Intelligence Agency? As in the people who's job it is to catch people like this? Dumb. As. Fuck. Let's see how funny that logo is when it's wearing an orange jumpsuit. If I were them, I'd probably be more worried about what 4Chan would do to them.
Wesley Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I'm always sceptical about these websites getting hacked. I mean... so? It's not as if there's a big login page and once it's "hacked" everything is just leaked out into the open. Also, I think there's a difference between hacking something and knocking something offline. But still; I hope they all die.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 If I were them, I'd probably be more worried about what 4Chan would do to them. It's funny 'cause it's true.
Wesley Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Also, wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago that the Pentagon claimed any cyber-attack against them (the US) would be treated as an act of war? I hope the Navy SEALs Six are gearing up right now.
MadDog Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 They've leaked 68,000 (I think, cba checking) GMail account names and their passwords. Fucking dickheads.
heroicjanitor Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 They've leaked 68,000 (I think, cba checking) GMail account names and their passwords. Fucking dickheads. Gmail? I always thought Google were bulletproof
Wesley Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Although I can't help but download whatever lists they put up just to make sure I'm not somehow on it. After all that bullshit with Gawker, Sony, Eidos, etc. It's not just GMail. There's a bunch of random emails there.
heroicjanitor Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Oh ok, I thought they hacked gmail but they hacked some porn site :p
Cube Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 It seems that the emails/passwords are hacked from a site called writerspace.com, and people on there who used the same email address for their email.
Emasher Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 SQLi and DDOS attacks are NOT hacking, SQLi is considered cracking, DDOSing isn't even considered cracking because the attacker never gains access to a restricted system For a good description of what hacking actually means: http://stallman.org/articles/on-hacking.html
Ten10 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Just got an email from sega saying they have been hacked. Perhaps this answers why my junk mail has gone from 50 a day to 100 an hour. Can't even remember signing up for anything sega so don't even know if I just used a throw away password. Fortunately sega claims they were encrypted but junk mail sucks big time.
ViPeR Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Really wish these people would just piss off now. Apparently they went after Xbox Live now too.
Jimbob Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Whats to say these guys wern't behind the PSN hacking??
MadDog Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Whats to say these guys wern't behind the PSN hacking?? That Anonymous claimed responsibility for that.
Ten10 Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Lulzsec is claiming not to be behind the Sega hacking: LulzSec The Lulz Boat @Sega - contact us. We want to help you destroy the hackers that attacked you. We love the Dreamcast, these people are going down. 20 hours ago
Emasher Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 That Anonymous claimed responsibility for that. That would be incorrect. Anonymous was only responsible for a short DDOS attack that was unrelated to the longer downtime.
Goafer Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Lulzsec is claiming not to be behind the Sega hacking: What a bunch of hypocrites. They claim to be helping companies by exposing weaknesses, but when someone else does it, it's suddenly wrong. Twats. If they liked the Dreamcast and Sega so much, why have they not hacked Sega. You know, to help them or whatever.
heroicjanitor Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 They aren't doing it to help anyone, they are doing it "for the lulz". They want to troll people, it is hilarious when someone gets fraped very badly and they want to enable strangers to do it to thousands. They are just doing it for the feeling of power imo, people are angry but can do nothing since they are anonymous.
Happenstance Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Really hope this is fake: http://pastebin.com/K1nerhk0
Serebii Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 See, this is just the ammunition the government need to tighten up internet policies. It's ridiculous. I understand the point they're trying to make, but I think they have gone way too far
