Tales Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 a) Because it will reveal the player's power b) Because it may be used to catch someone in a lie later on c) They're mafia and therefore has no information to share with the town d) They simply just don't have anything e) It's day 1 I'm sure there are more reasons.
Nintendohnut Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Well I literally got nothing last night, which I guess is why people aren't coming forward with anything - if they've got nothing they can't really contribute much? At least we have a list of potential pokemon from the first write-up. In previous games it's been at least two or three night without knowing which pokes are involved. I suppose there only being 151 actually is pretty helpful
Mr-Paul Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 All I found is that there is an eggy pokémon.... Chansey/Exeggcute/or?
Nintendohnut Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Exeggcute/or was in the last game so I doubt it's that, unless Rez has decided to repeat again which I doubt. Chansey seems like the most likely (Togepi was Gold/Silver, right?)
Cube Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Have in mind that the Pokemons in the write up may be shiny. Saying that, I have nothing relevant. The plural of Pokémon is just Pokémon. A large observant Pokemon...possibly a legendary bird or Aerodactyl.
Mr-Paul Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Exeggcute/or was in the last game so I doubt it's that, unless Rez has decided to repeat again which I doubt. Chansey seems like the most likely (Togepi was Gold/Silver, right?) Well I found that someone has a power called "Inheritance Revival Egg", so whether that fits with Chansey or not I'm not sure. Yellow pokémon could be Pikachu?
Rummy Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I have nothing. The white pokémon has to be Seel or Dewgong. They're the only pure white pokémon of the original 151 Ninetails? I thought of ninetails. What about a mew or a mewtwo? I'd call them white. I'm sure there's some more too. Is Persian white? I'd say the red and white pokemon is Electrode. The small yellow might be pikachu? I assume the golden one is the now deceased chairdriver. The green/green bulbasaur/in that line. Orange is too vague for now. I'd call Weedle more yellow than orange, orange is pretty much any fire pokemon until we know more?
EddieColeslaw Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 The plural of Pokémon is just Pokémon. A large observant Pokemon...possibly a legendary bird or Aerodactyl. I would have thought that the "fleeing majestic Pokemon" was a legendary bird, rather than the large observant one. Anyway, let's move on. Vote: No Lynch
Tales Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Hmm, reading the write up again I suspect Zell was up to no good tonight.
Nintendohnut Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Hmm, reading the write up again I suspect Zell was up to no good tonight. Right... well can you expand on that at all? In what way was he up to no good? How do you know (you don't have to say if you don't want to)? Do you think he's evil/we should vote for him?
Tales Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I can, but I don't think it's worth it. It doesn't have to mean anything. I just thought I'd put it out here so people know it for later or they know something themselves.
Brian Mcoy Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Hmm, reading the write up again I suspect Zell was up to no good tonight. Mcoy finds that to be a bit of a vague statement. Mcoy would prefer to hear your reasoning before making any assumptions.
Jonnas Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Seriously, Tales, expand on that. Now that you've said that, what's the point in staying quiet?
Tales Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I think I am the observant bird, which makes Zell the fleeing bird. If I'm right, I know who the yellow Pokemon is too.
Ellmeister Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Well at least that gives us someone to ask about. Zell, care to explain?
Jonnas Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 It's better than nothing. Zell, what were you doing, blasting people?
Zell Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I'm pretty sure that I'm the fleeing majestic pokemon in the write-up. I wasn't attacking the yellow pokemon, I was attempting to roleblock him, but he evaded the attack. The yellow pokemon is Dyson (I'm also guessing that he's Pikachu). I certainly wasn't "up to no good", I was just exercising my power. I know the write-up makes it seem very malicious, but I assure you it is just flavour text.
Brian Mcoy Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Mcoy would like to hear from Dyson then, Dyson has yet to say anything at this point.
heroicjanitor Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Dyson avoided your roleblock? Strange, suppose we'll have to wait for Dyson to see if he is capable of that. Doesn't really sound like a roleblock to me though tbh, and if it is it's fairly vicious. Wy were you fleeing?
Cube Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Lynch: Zell The write-up makes it seem that he is mafia and I shall believe it until he convinces us otherwise.
Marcamillian Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I'm active! ... Tales seems to be hinting at a silenced Dyson... silenced him or witnessed the silencing
Tales Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I am...? Dyson hasn't even logged in so we don't know if he's silenced.
Zell Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Lynch: Zell The write-up makes it seem that he is mafia and I shall believe it until he convinces us otherwise. Which bit in particular? I know I'm capable of a hugely powerful blast, because I'm a legendary pokemon. As for the fleeing bit, I think any pokemon would flee after failing to use their power. What I'm trying to say is, both bits of flavour text could apply to mafia or town.
heroicjanitor Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 "evaded the blast from a fleeing majestic pokemon" makes it sound like you were already fleeing when you used it... I think it was an attack which hits a certain percentage of the time, rather than a roleblock. Vote: Zell
