Retro_Link Posted January 29, 2011 Author Posted January 29, 2011 It is pretty amazing how simply you can do something as incredible as this now, just using a small camera and an iPhone! I love how the classic 'incoming text' sound, even made its way into Space! :p
Happenstance Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Twas awesome, such a shame as well about the battery at the end!

I love how the classic 'incoming text' sound, even made its way into Space! :p It's even helping out in terms of satellites as a British company is planning on launching one where the main component is an Android phone.
MadDog Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 That's awesome. That's what she said. That's wonderful. That's what she said. Great video aswell.
gaggle64 Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 That's some crazy awesome crap right there. (If I ever become the first man to land on Mars, these will be my first words.)
Pancake Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 What a brill idea! Definitely a "why didn't i think of that?".
Retro_Link Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 The thing I love about this video, is that you can watch all these TV programmes about Space, you can see scale models, photographs etc... but I've always found to difficult to actually feel how we fit into the universe... it's very difficult I find to actually think outside of our planet and gain any sense of scale or where we are. But this video somehow manages to give me that a sense of perspective.
