I was actually there on the day they filmed the scene at 50 seconds, but i didn't get to see Daniel Craig.

There's still something i don't like about him though. I think it's the fact that he looks like he's had a botched botox job when he's doing Bond. I understand Bond is supposed to be smooth and unruffled, but he takes it too far and ends up with plank-wood-face.

Still, film looks good!

That's why it's called a teaser. It's not a plot-revealing trailer, it's just a brief look at the film.

Although admittedly if it fails to excite you then it's not doing its job...

Good trailer! I love me some Bond!

Hopefully this will be an improvement over QoS which wasn't as good as Casino Royale (imo).

Does anyone know if the 50th Bond blu ray collection will have individual cases or more likely to be cardboard sleeves or something?

Been having a look around the internet and I found an image of the box set.

There is a slot free for when Skyfall comes out.

Not decided yet if I am happy with the book style rather than individual cases....

So, the first reviews are in for Skyfall. Four stars from Empire and the Telegraph, five from Total Film and The Daily Mail. I didn't read the reviews, just skimmed them because I don't want spoilers... but it's looking good!

I didn't realise how close this was. Although I was immensely worried by a beer advert I saw with Daniel Craig in it. I get the feeling that the product placement may be worse than Casino Royale.

Well, without it there wouldn't even be a film. To be honest I'd rather have it in there and they make a brilliant Bond film than they make a shit one on a budget, or they just didn't make one at all.

Also, I thought the product placement in Casino Royal was pretty funny tbh :D

"Let me just get my gun from this drawer--OH LOOK I LEFT MY SONY WALKMAN PLAYER IN THE DRAWER RIGHT NEXT TO MY GUN HOW SILLY OF ME."

"I just need to check the security tapes--OH WAIT THEY'RE NOT TAPES THEY'RE SONY BLU-RAYS THIS SEEMS LIKE A PROHIBITABLY EXPENSIVE SYSTEM"

"I just need to take a photo WITH MY SONY CYBERSHOT CAMERA oh look there's a bad guy over there"

If it's done right (i.e. people are simply using the stuff) then it's fine - just as long as they don't shove it right in front of the camera. I'm just dreading that they may do stuff like Q explaining stuff about the Sony Xperia T or something like that.

He should just tell Bond to 'Bing it' rather than show him how to use it.

Sounds like I'll need to take some earplugs when I watch Skyfall for the opening titles.

Well it does bother me a little that all of Daniel Craigs films seem to use the same chords or at least structure as each other.

I do like skyfall though, sounds like a classic bond theme. It's certainly not Madonna bad..

Watched Skyfall this morning.

I was quite unsure as to what to expect. While Casino Royale was a great film (and I still enjoyed Quantum of Solace) it wasn't really Bond. Based on the direction those films were heading towards, I was worried that the franchise was going to carry one with battling another villain who finances some unknown and fairly generic terrorist organisation (both films were about the same organisation) and many of the things that were great about the pre-Craig Bond films were absent, and I really missed them.

However, within one minute of Skyfall I realised that my concern was for nothing: this is a Bond film. That's not to mean that it's silly - Skyfall is a wonderful balance between Casino Royale and the older films.

The plot is great, the villain is wonderfully over-the-top (but not overly so), the characters are all extremely well done and the acting from everyone is top-notch, the settings are varied and all wonderful, the action is brilliant. And the car...the Bond car they picked is perfect (if you don't know what it is - don't look it up, wait until the reveal in the film).

Also, I was worried about product placement. It actually isn't noticeable and nowhere near as bad as Casino Royale - no massive logos this time.

I absolutely loved it. And

was perfect and got me excited for the next film. Even the room was great to look at.
