Paj! Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 It's hardly Primark...Primark is disgusting. You can feel the clothes falling apart as you wear them. Uniqlo has giant pictures of Charlize Thereon all over the place. Yes.
Ashley Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 True, but that's because overseas its a relatively small, specialist chain compared to Primark, so they're not gonna stock all the budget goods. Unfortunately most of the stuff there is also designed for a Japanese frame. None of the Jeans fit me, mostly because my body shape doesn't resemble a pitch fork. Lies. I've got some XS stuff and it doesn't fit me :p And its not cheap, even out there (probably even more so out there). I like the simplicity of most of their stuff although can never afford to buy it anything.
Daft Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I love UniQlo. Don't really shop there any more because it's gone a bit GAP but they do rock.
Goafer Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 It lets you use your pc as a guitar amp, with software to add tonnes of effects. Basically an amp, effects set, recording malarkey etc in one. Do want. I'm fed up of my bass sounding the same all the time. I want it to sound like a trumpet playing robo-Thatcher from many moons away.
enchantress Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 There are so many things I want but I'll get there eventually, one thing at a time. Immediately, however, I really do want to start up my own business. That's the one thing I've been wanting to do for a while now, and would make me happiest.
Paj! Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Enchantress? You're already my favourite new member.

Gearbox has some cool modelling software, a lot of shit you can do to mess around with the sound, but doesn't ever sound quite as good as playing through an actual amp.
enchantress Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Enchantress? You're already my favourite new member. lol, I'm flattered. Although I understood her basic background this is the first time I've read it in detail. It's actually quite intriguing and has given me some ideas for my RP character ^-^.
Ten10 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I don't know why, but I just want it. Same here, and the only reason I want this stupid device is so that I don't have to get my phone out every time I want to change track while using cardio trainer.
Cube Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Same here, and the only reason I want this stupid device is so that I don't have to get my phone out every time I want to change track while using cardio trainer. My reasoning is the same. Except instead of "while using cardio trainer" it's "while I'm on the bus".
Ashley Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Actually if we're going into that territory I realised recently I want a job at Nintendo and a place for me and Jodie to live. And I want the original thread title back.
nightwolf Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Actually if we're going into that territory I realised recently I want a job at Nintendo and a place for me and Jodie to live. And I want the original thread title back. Well given I want this flat for July and will most likely obtain it.. It's not that far fetched.
nightwolf Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Where's that flat? Sheffield - velocity tower at the moment for 395 for a studio flat. Or 495 for a 1 bed, given with full time work I'll be doing 40hours a week it's easily payable with money on top. I'm quite excited as I've seen them and can afford one as phase eight have said I can have a full time job in july.
Dan_Dare Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 oh cool- I was wondering what it's like in that place.
Oxigen_Waste Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Only 600€ to go! (And yes, I will remove that nasty red pattern thing)
Ashley Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Well given I want this flat for July and will most likely obtain it.. It's not that far fetched.
Eenuh Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 So things you want but can't get (yet)? An iMac, to replace my old PC that I never use anyway (but I could use something for my drawings, as my laptop just isn't good enough anymore to run big programmes at the same time). A new Wacom to go with it. An Intuos would be nice. Or even better, a Cintiq! =P
Sméagol Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 [..] I realised recently I want a job at Nintendo [..] I'm unemployed at the moment, so I need any job, but out of curiosity I checked the Nintendo site for jobs.. And goddamn, they actually have something that'd be perfect for me (English-Dutch translator). Too bad they do all that stuff in Deutschland. If only I lived in Grosostheim.. Anyway, to get on-topic (or well, more on-topic).. Although I'm not an Apple fan, but the Iphone 4 actually had a chance to be my first Iphone (if well, I had a job), but I was still wondering if there would be other phones coming out that I'd rather want. I've finally found the phone I want to replace my current one (Sony Ericsson K660i). Keep in mind design plays a huge part in the "want" factor for me. That's why I'd consider an Iphone 4. But well.. This runs Android. Obviously a nerd like me also considers functionality. Runners up would be, well, still the Iphone 4 and the Dell Venue pro. Anyway, this thing is slated for March I think, so hopefully I have a job by then, then I'm certainly getting this thing :p.

Yeah I want a job at Nintendo UK...but I think they only do PR. I would like to live many places in the world but I've never felt the desire to live in Germany

I would like to live many places in the world but I've never felt the desire to live in Germany Well.. Getting off-topic, but: I personally like Germany, but I only like to live in big cities. Grosostheim isn't one.. Quick look at the photos when you check it on Google maps gives me a boring impression. Quaint, perhaps nice to visit as a tourist, but not to live there. Frankfurt is relatively close by, which is quite international, but I'm estimating from the map still some 50+ km away from Grosostheim.. Probably just too far away for comfortable daily commuting. Then there is the thing of leaving everyone behind of course.
Ashley Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Tim (former EIC, current Nintendo employee) seems to be getting on. Although I can't remember where he lives exactly. He did say to me a while ago inside the offices its like a mini-England as everyone speaks English.
