Fused King Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Alright, I'd like to post a couple of things after looking through this thread and having viewed the trailer. The water looks like the water from the WiiU 'Japanese Garden' trailer. I slapped this bad mo-fo game on the backlog, for I looooove me some Japanese horror In response to my previous point, I think I might've preferred it to be in Japanese. So I ask you lot, is Japanese voice-acting an option?
Hero-of-Time Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 NGamer have reviewed this in the current issue and have awarded it a score of 89%. I haven't been able to find any details as to what the review says but the score is much higher than I expected.
Magnus Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I still can't get over the fact that they're giving us a remake instead of the latest game in the series. Oh, Nintendo. But I hear the general consensus is that Fatal Frame 2 is the best game in the series, so maybe they're just trying to look out for us as usual.
david.dakota Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I would have wanted the entire series remade, personally. In HD while we're at it.
Ike Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I'll post the summary in the Nintendo Gamer review: Changes and additions aside, the core of the game has been left largely untouched. That's a good thing, because Crimson Butterfly is one the best survival horrors ever made. None of these change are essential, but they do help revitalise a memorably heart-stopping horror title... A friendlier game than the original, but a scarier one too, like a zombie that tidies up after it rips you apart. The best horror game on Wii, by some margin. 80% Haven't read it properly yet so I don't know what changes they are talking about.
sumo73 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Already have Project Zero 2 (FF2) for the PS2 but will still get this for the Wii when it comes out. Would be nice with a Japanese audio option but I'm glad that this game is actually coming out, outside of Japan.
Mr-Paul Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 NGamer have reviewed this in the current issue and have awarded it a score of 89%. I haven't been able to find any details as to what the review says but the score is much higher than I expected. When I played it the other week I did like what little I saw of it. Was definitely a different kind of horror to what we generally get, and had a great atmosphere with unique gameplay. Graphically I thought it's pretty nice too, so yeah, could be one to look out for!
Dcubed Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 YAY! it's here! (along with Spirit Camera ) Thanks for the early ship, Shopto! Impressions to come...
nekunando Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 YAY! it's here! (along with Spirit Camera ) Thanks for the early ship, Shopto! Impressions to come... I'll be particularly interested in reading your impressions as I've been playing it for review since Saturday (and still have a sufficient amount to cram in over the next couple of nights by the looks of things) and I'm still not too sure how I'm gonna end up scoring it..
Dcubed Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I'll be particularly interested in reading your impressions as I've been playing it for review since Saturday (and still have a sufficient amount to cram in over the next couple of nights by the looks of things) and I'm still not too sure how I'm gonna end up scoring it.. Well I've played the original Project Zero 1 & 2, but I never finished either of them (got about halfway through the first one and up to I think chapter 4 or 5 on PZ2, but it has been years since I've played either of them, so my memory is hazy). That being said, here are my thoughts after a couple of hours with each... Project Zero 2 Wii Edition (up to chapter 3) Like the original game, this game oozes atmosphere. For those who've been craving a game that delivers on atmosphere (particularily in light of the death of survival horror at the hands of action shooter fests like RE5 and Dead Space), this game delivers. It's slow paced and light on action, with an interesting and novel combat system (where your only means of defence is through an enchanted camera known as the camera obscura) The use of ghosts and super natural phenomena makes for a very different type of scare and tension than your typical zombie horror title. This is a game where your foes are invisible (until you look through the camera) and can come from anywhere (through walls, from behind you name it!), but the scares and tension more often come from what doesn't happen - rather than what does. It's a subtle game that's more about the unseen and unsettlement than your typical jump scare or action fest. That being said, the game is pretty hard and you probably will see the game over screen regularly. Ghosts are tough and health recovery items are scarce! In comparison to the original in this respect... the gameplay additions definitely enhance that feeling of tension - the randomisation of ghost encounters, the new over the shoulder camera, the presence of two invincible ghosts that insta kill you (ALA One Dangerous Zombie from the GCN REmake), the item touch system etc all work really well. The level design has also changed significantly, with new areas, encounters, mechanics and events scattered throughout that play on your knowledge of the original in many respects; so if you're very familiar with the original, I think you many appreciate the remake even more. One thing that doesn't work well though IMO is the voice acting. While not badly done in of itself, the fact that the game stars two Japanese twins in a lonesome deathly Japanese village means that the thick British accents really do not fit the characters! Possibly to the point of distraction (one character who is very obviously voiced by the same VA who did Shulk from Xenoblade felt particularly out of place!) It's like watching a live action Asian movie with a US/British dub, just feels wrong. One thing that always bothered me about the original game though were the controls; they always felt clunky and unresponsive in the original version. While it has been a long while since I played it last, the Wii version does seem to be more responsive in terms of controls - walking around and interacting with objects feels much easier than I remember. The flashlight/camera controls are disappointing though, not because they use delayed accelerometer controls rather than the pointer (which I appreciate were done to slow down your character's movement and keep that feeling of helplessness), but rather because bizzarly they're only mapped to up and down! You can't use the Wiimote to move your flashlight/camera left and right, only up and down (the analog stick controls left and right movement). This is awkward and feels like rubbing your stomach while patting your head! I've not tried the Haunted House mode yet, but looking forward to giving it a go! Overall, enjoying it muchly so far. So long as I can get over the awkward flashlight/camera controls, I might well be able to finish it this time! Spirit Camera You... Need... Liiiiiiigggghhhhttttt!!!!! First thing you'll notice with this game is that it's really picky with it's luminence requirement! Luckliy I have an iPad so I can put the PDF version of the diary on there and have it work perfectly! (though a bit of the novelty is lost from not physically turning the pages yourself ). Otherwise, the AR tech works perfectly... in ideal circumstances. If you don't have enough light (or a laptop/tablet handy in a dark room) you'll have a tough time playing it! It's one that you also really need to make some free time for. Given the setup requirement and the fact that it doesn't allow you to save at any time (only at preset story points), this is not a pickup and play game at all. Unlike it's predecessors however, it doesn't really deliver that creepy atmosphere that the series is known for. It actually feels a bit campy! Not very scary at all. When you know how everything works (and that you can break the AR effect by looking away from the book), you can't really suspend your disbelief at all. The fact that the game randomly switches between voiced and unvoiced dialogue doesn't help matters either... However this game is truly novel. It does feel like the real next step with the 3DS' AR games and I've already seen plenty of parts in the game that are really quite clever in how the AR is used. Without spoiling anything, if you're the kind of person who gasped in glee when you solved that puzzle in Another Code where you had to close your DS, you'll like the puzzles in this game! Outside of it's sheer novelty however, I have doubts about its lasting appeal. The gameplay mechanics, including combat, aren't really that deep in of themselves (though certaintly a good notch above the included AR games on the 3DS) and of course you'll already know how to solve the puzzles after an initial playthrough; It's also not very difficult (I've yet to die once). Despite the fact that it's not very deep or very creepy at all, I'm still finding it fun.
nekunando Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Project Zero 2 Wii Edition ..the game is pretty hard and you probably will see the game over screen regularly. Ghosts are tough and health recovery items are scarce! I've been playing on 'Normal' and I've never felt close to seeing a Game Over screen.. and I've just reached Chapter 7 The number of health recovery items has seemed generous for me and that is in spite of me feeling like I've never quite nailed the combat, partially because.. The flashlight/camera controls are disappointing. They really are I am at a stage now where I just about feel like I can deal with them but they are much more annoying than they need to be, which is a shame.. There are other strange decisions that I will detail when I write the review but one thing that can't be denied is the atmosphere! It can be very creepy..
Mokong Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I'm hoping to pick up PZ2 as my last Wii game, haven't got it pre-ordered though and not sure if I should get it tomorrow or wait till next week as I won't be home the weekend to play it anyway.
Zechs Merquise Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I was slightly interested in this game, but the controls sounds horrible and quite clunky and counter-intuitive. I know people will say it's to build tension and make you panic, but I personally think it's a poor way to build challenge and tension - it's comparable to shooting yourself in the foot before you go on a walk so it's more challeneging! There's still a few Wii games I fancy picking up anyway, Xenoblade, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, No More Heroes 2, Pikmin 2 and maybe one or two others. So with that in mind I might give this a miss!

Dude how many times must I tell you. Xenoblade should be number one on your list of games to buy. If you fail to play this beauty then you will have lost your soul.....don't make me use my crazy eyes on you
MicroLovePony Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 A video showing off the first chapter in the game. Good watch if you're still on the fence about the game.
Mokong Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) So I picked this up yesterday. Finished chapter 1 and loving it. Only thing that annoying me though not the games fault is that they released it in the Summer when the evenings are still bright Would rather play in total darkness and no patient or got the energy to stay up late anymore The english voices are ok but would have rathered a choice of the japanese voices with subs. As a fan of j-horror and after having fully enjoyed Fatal Frame 4 thanks to the translation fan patch the english voices seem very out of place on characters that you know are meant to be and look Japanese and they are in a ver japanese looking setting too. Was about halfway into chapter one till I got a bit of a fright as I guess after having played FF4 previously I could tell when to expect something... When you find the key to the upstairs room and then the woman appears leaving the room that caught me off gaurd. As I was fully expecting something to happen while I was reaching for the key and when nothing happened I thought, "phew nothing to worry about here" then DAMN, haha. Still managed to snap a pic of her though. But then when I left the room again wasn't expecting anything and then the ghost appeared on the stairs, I failed to get a pic of this so that was the first ghost pic I've missed so far. Though the boy hiding behind the robe in the room with the save point took me a few tries to get. Good thing he was in the room with the save point and I had just saved so I just reloaded and tried again I kept double tapping B by mistake and missing him Got him on the 3rd try I started up Chapter 2 but just ran round the village a bit instead of going where I knew I was meant to go and found some health items and film which is handy and went back to the graveyard area too just to get my bearings on where things were first Edited July 3, 2012 by Mokong
Mokong Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 So where is the discussion on this gone? Or is everyone too scared now On the issue of teh controls, yeah they are a bit difficult, had hoped they would have learned from Fatal Frame 4 and improved on them a bit. But I'm not overally bothered with them anyway. I guess having played Fatal Frame 4 I'm well used to the controls so I don't find them that much of an issue. The only thing annoying me at the moment is the bloody sun always wants to appear when I want to play. And be damned the summer it doesn't set till like 10 and I want to start playing at 8pm. So I'm not getting as much playtime in as I'd like to:heh: Not an issue in most games but as this game is so dark when you have a bright sun beaming in the window you can barely see anything. I need to get some new blinds that totally block out the sun I wouldn't mind the good weather though EXCEPT during the afternoon it always wants to rain and teh sun only seems to come out when I want to play If ever I find myself moving house I must remember to check where the TV room will be in relation to the evening sun Anyway back to the game. I am currently on Chapter 6 and loving it Playing in small bursts of about 2 hours a day, would like to be able to sit down and have good long sessions and really let the atmosphere of teh game soak in but I'm still enjoying it anyway. The story is great so far (though I think I may have figured out at least one plot twist) and love finding the notes and journals dotted around that add to the back story and creepyness. And the stones for the Spirit Radio too. Also noticed that Mayu's Stone will have something new to say from time to time as the game progesses which is nice Had some good jumpy moments in Chapters 5 & 6 too (I'm sure there was some in earlier ones too but can't remember at the mo ) In chapter 5, think it in the mid way of it, when on the walkway and you get attacked by the "broken neck woman" I nearly had her "dead" when she decided to start floating off teh walkway and then disappeared. I was waiting for her to reappear and expecting her to appear on the walkway so had my back to one door to be sure she would appear in front. Then her face just comes in from the side in front of my cam. Scared the shit out of me as wasn't expecting it. Lucky the jump I got made me press the A button and I got a Fatal Frame picture on her and killed her, haha and *phew* Later near the end then when you are in the Shirne and looking for the key when I was going to touch it. I was expecting that annoying floating hand to grab me but the broken neck woman appeared again. Bitch got me again. I thought I'd have to fight her again but she just vanished then Chaper 6 then and it was the part I knew would be coming and wasn't much looking forward to. Japanese horror writers seem to love using little girls with long hair covering their faces...but I bloody HATE them. Be it in Films or Games them bitches be freaky and SCAREY. If that wasn't enough this game has TWIN freaky long hair girls...so TWO OF THEM Though when then first appeared at start of the chapter and were non-violent blue indicator ghosts that you just had to get a photo of a few times I was fine. Was starting to think maybe they'll just be running around for a few photo ops and not cause me any grief.....then they bloody corner me and attack  The ghost "Lady In a Box" I think she called that you encounter in Chapter One (if you went back to the save room at a certain point...don't know if she appears at all if you missed her in Chapter 1) and has reappeared a few times since, is similar, freaky female ghost with long hair covering face. But she an adult I can deal with that....when it's kids and especially little girls there's something FAR more sinister and *shiver* about that After got rid of those then the next "big" scare I had was when fighting the "broken woman" who jumped down the stairs. Was doing fine she didn't seem to be putting up much of a fight or have any need for me to worry. But then like the "Broken Neck Woman" when I nearly finished her she vanished and again I was just expecting to see her reappear as normal, maybe behind a wall and I'd have to wait for her to walk/crawl through it so I could see her...but instead she falls from the ceiling in front of the camera....BITCH Anyway looking forward to pushing on and seeing where the story goes. (Just waiting for teh sun to set a bit more ) And I'm really getting the urge to want to replay Fatal Frame 4 again, though I nolonger have the HBC on my Wii and my first Wii broke and I got a new one. So maybe when the WiiU comes out I'll look into adding the HBC to my Wii again so I can play FF4 again Maybe we'll get lucky and Nintendo will release a HD remake of FF4 on the WiiU and release it worldwide this time, I would love that. And hopefully we'll also get Fatal Frame 5 (Project Zero 5) on the WiiU too. As I think using the GamePad would be great for this series. The GamePad would become the Camera Obscura. So whenever you need the camera to get a pic or fight a ghost you'll have to hold the GamePag up and the camera view poin will be on teh GamePads screen. It could also take full advantage of that panorama view feature thing of teh GamePad so instead using the anolgue sticks to make the character move to look around the room in the game if a ghost moves behind you. You actually have to be the character "holding-the-camera" and turn yourself around to find the ghost. Damnit FF5 on WiiU better happen And Nintendo better not be dicks with it like they were with FF4
Gentleben Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I played the game on Normal setting all the way until final stage, but couldn't defeat the last but one boss. I had'nt allowed myself enough powerful camera film and had zero healing items. So after countless attempts I restarted a new game on Easy (managed to complete the game in a litle over 6 hours) compared with 11 hours on the Normal file. Going to start another play thru now, wanna unlocked all the costumes.
nekunando Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 After a week or so of not really having time to get back to Project Zero 2, I played the game again this morning before work and then again tonight.. and it's cleared I won't go into too much detail as I'd rather leave that for the review but it was a good game with a few shortcomings and it would be difficult not to recommend it to horror fans As for the difficulty, I played through the game on 'Normal' and didn't encounter the problems you seem to have had, @Mokong X\-C[/color] and would almost go as far as saying that I actually think it will happen..

nekunando Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Which ending did you get? and what did you unlock costume wise? you going to try for the other endings? Multiple endings has never really been a motivation for me to play through any game again so I'm unlikely to break with tradition on this one, particularly considering the multitude of other games I would like to play at the moment.. As for the ending and unlockables.. I made my way down a long passage, took care of a fairly straightforward boss and then progressed into an area where I choked my big sister to death As far as I can see, only the 'Summer' uniforms have become availalable for purchase in the Night Shop for Mio and Mayu.. I still have to give the Haunted House mode a proper go but I'm fairly certain of the score I'll be awarding Crimson Butterfly

As for the ending and unlockables.. I made my way down a long passage, took care of a fairly straightforward boss and then progressed into an area where I choked my big sister to death I got the same ending as well, was very surprised and after some research this is considered the cannon ending. As far as I can see, only the 'Summer' uniforms have become availalable for purchase in the Night Shop for Mio and Mayu.. I'm a bit annoyed you have to spend money to buy moth Mio and Mayu outfits considering some are the same. I also unlocked the same outfit- but with two pairs of glasses as well. I still have to give the Haunted House mode a proper go but I'm fairly certain of the score I'll be awarding Crimson Butterfly Not too impressed with the haunted house mode myself.
Mokong Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 There's multiple endings? damn I didn't know that, I love games that offer different endings. I was likely to play through again on Hard (I assume a Hard mode unlocks when you finish Normal?) so knowing there's other endings is great for me Guess I'm the opposite of Nando so as I usually play games (that I like) more than once. Hell I finished Resident Evil Revelations on the 3DS 3 times (First on Normal, then on Hell mode and then again on Casual mode for a No Herb run ) Anyway last night I had a quick go and finished off Chapter 6, man what an ending that one had. Liek Nando had been saying I'm playing on Normal and haven't had much issue with health items or film. The first mirrorstone I found lasted me till Chapter 5 and then I found another in Chapter 6 (phew) When you find the key in the cave under the first house (Osaka I think it called) and go back to try free Mayu and get attacked by 2 of the "Mourners" in the well area, those bastards took me by surprise. and I ended up using the Mirrorstone then. But luckily found another in Chapter 6 in the doll room. There was one down in the cave too where you find the key and fight the first Mourner but you can't carry more than one so I left that there. Can always go back if I need it I spotted that you auto heal when you finish a chapter too anyway so I have been trying not to heal if I think I'm near the end of a chapter...unless in a hard boss fight. I think at the end of Chapter 6 I've got like 13 Herbs in stock and 6 Sacred Waters. I've probably used about 6 or 7 herbs in the game so far and not one Sacred Water. I also have not been having any issue film usage.... until end of Chapter 6 Up to and including I think Chapter 4 finding Type 14 film seemed easy there seemed to be loads, I usually had 80 plus in stock. And from expereince with Fatal Frame 4 I'm trying to try not use any of the stronger film types as much as possible and save for later in the game. Think I might have used some Type 90 on a strong ghost in Chapter 5 (the 2 Mourners) but just one or two to help do some extra damage. I seem to have found more Type 90 film too than Type 61 which I thought odd (40 Type 90 to 16 Type 61) and found 3 Type Zero which I'm saving for the end  I also remember to switch my film type to Type 7 (unlimited but weak) for when I'm walking around so if I need to take a quick picture of a non-violent ghost I'm not wasting stronger film. And also if a ghost only has a small be of health left I'll switch to Type 7 and finish it with that again to save stocks of the stronger film. Anyway end of Chapter 6 I ended up using more film than I would have liked.... First fighting the Dollmaker was annoying and I also used a few herbs here thanks to his floating evil dolls. I think the dolls were what made this fight hard as they just got in the way and caused me to take pictures at half charge as I was worried if I waited till full I'd get grabbed by a doll before I could take the picture. ANd he ended up glowing Purple and getting his second wind so that meant he got more health and needed to use more film on him. I actually thought he would be the boss for that chapter too cause it felt like he was so wasn't expecting a boss fight with the Twin Girl and Twin Doll in the small doll room. Again freaking little girls with long hair I HATE, freak me out too Plus I couldn't tell if there was any difference between them to give an idicator on which was the girl and which was the doll and I kept getting pictures of the doll which did no damage so there was just a ton of wasted pictures there... and she glowed purple too so while I could then tell which was which I still needed to use more film than I would have liked. By the end of it think my Type 14 film was down to 30 and I used up 6 of my Type 90 film too Oh but I loved teh cut scene at the end of teh chapter down in the cave That was nice and creepy alright. Loved that you could hear pictures being taken with the camera after Mio dropped it so I can't wait to find it again and see whats on it I did a quick run into Chapter 7 and saw what waits in the next room but called it a night so that I'll have the time this evening to (hopefully) play he whole chapter in one sitting. Oh and I also tried the Huanted House mode for the first time yesterday. Only did one, the first one, where it's basically an on-rails and all you have to do is not move the Wiimote or Nunchuck to show you're not scared. Was interesting but as you didn't have to fight any ghosts you knew they couldn't damage you so when they appeared it was just "meh, no need to worry". I didn't move the Wiimote or nunchuck at all and kept a steady hand but still somehow go a few "shiver" points but not enough to move me from level 1 fear to level 2. Had a quick look at the booklet though and a 2nd player can take part in that with limited controls, like pressing a button makes a ghost appear, another button makes player 1's wiimote vibrate. Might be interesting if you got a friend to have a go and didn't tell them you had a 2nd wiimote on and kept vibrating his/her wiimote. Might give one of the other two houses a go later
Mokong Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 The flashlight/camera controls are disappointing though, not because they use delayed accelerometer controls rather than the pointer (which I appreciate were done to slow down your character's movement and keep that feeling of helplessness), but rather because bizzarly they're only mapped to up and down! You can't use the Wiimote to move your flashlight/camera left and right, only up and down (the analog stick controls left and right movement). This is awkward and feels like rubbing your stomach while patting your head! Just spotted this bit now, you do know you can twist the wiimote left or right and Mio will look in the direction you twist. Though this doesn't change the direction she walks in it still allows you to look around a bit. Anyway did Chapter 7 this evening and a bit of Chapter 8 Chapter 7 has to have been my fav chapter so far, bloody had me on edge most of the chapter. Sae is a bloody scary bitch isn't she. Damn. When you first enter the hallway after the starting room even though I didn't have the camera with me I was still drawn to the misty door on the right, thought I might aswell check it see what it says. Soon as I got near it Sae pops up and grabs me - Game Over - ok fine, mental note don't go near the door, expecting she won't appear if I stay away from the door. So reload, into the hallway and walk to the left not expecting much to happen and up she pops again....FRAK RUN : Got away from her and was nice to end up in a room with a save point, phew, that's over with right  Explored the downstairs area first, found some items/notes, 2more misty doors and a room where 3 ghosts attacked me so I just ran out and back to the save room. Then went upstairs...and find Mayu walking round, thought "cool that was quick" then she acts weird, now thinking "oh shit", turns into Sae and a longer chase scene starts than the first. Was right on edge when I was forced into the closet where you find the Kiri key then when you go out Mio says "I sense she's still nearby", I leg it for the door and Sae jumps from nowhere just missing me : franticly hammering on the A button to open teh locked door. Little bit of a cut scene and phew all seems well. Then I learn I have to go back to the key closet to get the doll I saw. FRAK : Slowly reenter the previous room quick look around, no sign of Sae, phew, get the doll and head back to the other room....then again Sae pops up from nowhere narrowly misses me as I leg for the next room again. Solve the puzzle easy enough then appears again, damnit bitch just leave me alone, hammering on A to get out. Big sigh of relief when the colour returned to the screen, haha. Got back to the Camera and flashlight, got to say I was VERY disappointed to see there were no pictures taken by Sae after I dropped it. Cause you could hear it taking pictures as Mio climbed the ladder. Very missed oppurtunity there. 2nd half of the Chapter then was good too. Having to fight the Girl in Red Komino a few times was interesting. I wasn't as freaked out about this one, didn't scare me much....guess cause I could see her face and it wasn't covered by long hair was a plus Actually felt a bit sorry for her and kinda didn't want to hurt her, she was just as scared as I was Although the bits in the fights when the room goes total black and you can't see her till the last second was a bit freaky. After the awesome chapter 7 I did a bit of chapter 8.... prolly just under half. Got the first pinwheel in the Storehouse where Itsuki was of course. Went for the one in the Osaka house next. Damn why are those kid ghosts so hard to photograph. Luckily I got one of them (Fleeing Boy) when you first enter the main room of the house. And lucky I then went to the save room first (fought Lady in Box again and found a new Lens ) cause when I found the first hidding ghost in teh room where you first get teh camera I missed him. So I just reloaded and tried again, you get such a small window to take the picture. Took me 3 tries in teh end I actually got the picture even though the wall was in my way but the circle was green and it named the picture so that was fine. Figured the other two I saw must be playing hide and seek too and figured they too might have small windows to get the pic in so went back and saved first just in case The 2nd boy in the room with the veranda I got in one go still went and saved just in case again. Good thing too cause the girl in the upstairs room took me another 3 reloads to get Does the number of saves and/or number of times you reload have an effect on which ending you get? Called it a night there, was gonna try get the pinwheel at the graveyard next but I couldn't go up there (yet) and the other one is in the Dollmakers house and I didn't fancy much going back in there tonight so will do that tomorrow Oh question for those that finished the game Did ye find all the lens? And if so did ya find them in order? I seem to have some gaps so wondering if I missed some? Of the Red lens I have the 1st and 3rd Blue I have the 1st, 2nd and 4th Green I have the 2nd and 3rd Also what percent of your ghost list did you have when you finished the game? I'm trying to get as many as I can and reload if I miss one not long after saving but I know there are 2 that I did miss that I didn't bother going back for as it had been a while since my last save....think that was back in Chapter 4
Gentleben Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Oh question for those that finished the game Did ye find all the lens? And if so did ya find them in order? Of the Red lens I have the 1st and 3rd Blue I have the 1st, 2nd and 4th Green I have the 2nd and 3rd Also what percent of your ghost list did you have when you finished the game? I had 50% of the ghost list completed after my 1st play thru, with a C rank grade on Easy mode. Completing the game opens the "Night shop" where you can buy some extra camera bits and pieces/costumes/view the ending and take some photos. Oh and the ending is'nt based on the play time or final grade. There are 6 ending and I believe they are based around the time taken to kill the final boss and places you visit in the 8th Chapter with your sister.
