I think i'll take from mine instead

Vanilla or possibly with 4GB instead of 2GB RAM. I am super cheap. I don't think I'd get it if it wasn't 30% off. Sadly the deal only applies to the cheapest model so C2D instead of i5.

This is Alienware M11x for anyone wondering.

Did some Christmas shopping on the cheap earlier.

Got my father a Spurs scarf from White Hart Lane (more effort in the journey than the gift) for £5. Got my mother's partner two shirts from a Matalan clearance outlet costing £3 in total. Annoyingly I found one for my brother that would have been great but the wrong size. Searched through the whole mess of a depressing store and not one in his size. Got my mother a top...thing from M&S Outlet for £10. I'm not sure how you describe it, women's clothing is confusing. But its an acceptable level of nice/formalness that she could wear it both at work and just as everyday. Was some purple thing similar but more expensive and I would have got that if she could return it to any normal M&S but you can't apparently. There was something about it that made me fencey.

And cards. £2 for my mother's, 47p for grandparents and 47p for brother and his girlfriend (considered "Brother and sister-in-law" but went with "special couple" in the end). Almost got a 97p one for my dad then decided that was too much so I'll get a generic one ^_^

And two granddad cardigan things for myself. £2 each.

aka one of the best (only??) gaming netbooks on the market.

Do want.

I read a review about it in a PC mag (PCF maybe) and I was like...so very tempted! Sadly its a bit out of my budget :P

I've bought nothing yet and my brother, who i can normally count on to be even less prepared than I am has bought almost all his presents. I keep getting asked what I'd like, and I don't even know that.

Meh.
