Happenstance
Anyone else watched these yet? They're only on episode 2 so far but it looks like it'll be a good feature.
martinist
watched the first one when they first put it up, was pretty interesting. Second one was pretty good too. I'll be watching the next one when they decide to put it up.

Emasher
Its one of the best features on GT now. Something like this is long overdue.
Dannyboy-the-Dane
MythBusters for gamers! Awesome!
jayseven
I've always liked these mythbuster things, like the ones for MW2 and Halo -- The GT ones are well presented and put together, but the other two go through a lot more myths per episode. Still enjoyable, and with the GT ones they'll not be limited to one game, genre or console.
nightwolf
I like these, definitely interesting, hopefully they'll go through time with them so it isn't just the older generation of games. The jumping flag pole had me interested, shame there's not much after the pole.
nekunando
I've been watching them too.. all two of them It actually made me wonder what myths or queries you might all have with games and maybe we could find out ourselves whether they are true or false

Emasher
This piqued my interest. Care to elaborate? Marill was originally planned to be included in Green/Red/Blue/Yellow versions as an evolution of Pikachu, but was taken out of the game's code late in development. To be honest, I'd rather they do a slightly longer episode about all the weird stuff from Red/Green/Blue/Yellow. They could talk about Missingno, Cubone/Kangaskhan, Pikablu, The Grass beside pallet town, ect. Edited May 28, 2010 by Emasher

Ooh, really? Sounds strange. Though not as strange as that Butterfree/Venomoth thing. To be honest, I'd rather they do a slightly longer episode about all the weird stuff from Red/Green/Blue/Yellow. They could talk about Missingno, Cubone/Kangaskhan, Pikablu, The Grass beside pallet town, ect. Yeah, that'd be great.
Emasher
There are also sprite swapping rumours about Garados and Dragonight. However, they're much less credible for various reasons.
Dannyboy-the-Dane
Yeah, that makes way less sense.

Dannyboy-the-Dane
No it doesn't. No? If you look at the appearances of Butterfree and Venomoth as well as their previous stages of evolution, there is a large similarity. But there is less similarity between Dragonite and Gyarados and their previous stages. At least I think so.
Dyson
Graphically it would make more sense to have Dragonair evolve in to Gyrados. I mean look at them. It makes much less sense to have it evolve in to a huge fuckoff orange Dragon. It doesn't work quite so well the other way round though - Magikarp in to Dragonite would make very little sense. So there. Edited May 28, 2010 by Dyson
Dannyboy-the-Dane
Yeah, I agree with you there. It was primarily Magikarp -> Dragonite that I had a problem with.
Emasher
Its not about the shape of the body though. Its about the overall style of the designs. Magicarp and Garados are both based off traditional Japanese costumes/ornaments. The dragonight chain however all have more smooth bodies and have a lot more in common in terms of style.
