mcj metroid Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree Donkey Kong Barrel Blast Endless Ocean Excitebots: Trick Racing Excite Truck Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Mario Strikers Charged Metroid Prime 3: Corruption New Play Control! Pikmin Wario Land: Shake It! Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Wii Fit Wii Music I have the bolded ones. I do own pikmin on gamecube which I assume now is rarer. Most of these games were discontinued for a reason though. ONly disappointments are wario land, strikers and fire emblem. They deserve to be part a classic range at least to boast sales once again.
RedShell Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Marbles! Balance Challenge and Blastworks. Unfortunately. Oh- and the Pegi 7+ version of Rabbids Go Home.
welsh_gamer Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 Marbles! Balance Challenge and Blastworks. Unfortunately. Only 2 copies of Marbles! Balance Challenge currently on eBay and sold out at every online retailer, so it's very rare! Gonna keep my eye out for this on the second-hand market now. The future Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes of the Wii?
Retro_Link Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I think Okami might have become quite a rarity now.
... Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Does Disaster count? Maybe Metroid Prime Trilogy too, now that it has been discontinued?
Shining Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 It's not really discontinued though, since it's still sold in the UK. Just ordered mine from Amazon.
Hero-of-Time Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Most of Namco Bandai's games are now rare on the Wii which is why I try to snap them up as soon as they get released. Bleach, Naruto 1 & 2, One Piece 1 & 2 and to a certain extent the Dragonball Z Budokai games go for a pretty penny. Dragonball: King Piccolos Revenge is heading that way aswell so snap it up while you can.
Ike Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I've got out of that list: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Metroid Prime 3: Corruption New Play Control! Pikmin Wario Land: Shake It! Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Wii Fit Wii Music Maybe Metroid Prime Trilogy too, now that it has been discontinued? It's not discontinued in Europe. Yeah, One Piece UC 1 & 2 are hard to get now, they sell for quite a bit, I heard someone sold a copy of Episode 1 for £80! If I knew it would sell for that much I would have bought more copies.
RedShell Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Only 2 copies of Marbles! Balance Challenge currently on eBay and sold out at every online retailer, so it's very rare! Gonna keep my eye out for this on the second-hand market now. The future Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes of the Wii? It was already pretty rare at launch! And despite Mr.T's best efforts ... Not that many N-E peeps picked it up. Anyway, let us know if you find a copy.
Tellyn Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Klonoa perhaps? I've only seen it in a store once.
Nolan Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Elebits/Eledees Phantom Brave (it's a NIS game after all) Zack and Wiki
Coolness Bears Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Marbles! Balance Challenge I want this so bad. I don't own any of the unknown/rare Wii games. I keep going for the popular ones. :p

STOOPIDDITTIES Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Is Donkey Kong really worth buying though? I have it and I dislike it so much I was thinking of trading it in. Do you think it's worth keeping just for the sake of its rarity value? Talking of which I might give it another go. Surely it can't be as bad as I remember...
Retro_Link Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Yeah with a number of these games it depends really on how much of a collector you are. If a game is bad or doesn't hold any real replayability, then personally I'd much rather sell the game and use the money to buy another one.
tapedeck Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 It's probably not that rare then! *Wishes it was Rare* Oh, there's the DKC fanboy coming out all over again...
Sméagol Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Heh, bought Kororinpa 2 (because that's what it's really called people ) not that long ago, December I think, because I didn't think I'd be able to find it on shelves (and especially that particular one) for long. The last copy as far as I remember. It's still sealed, haven't really played the first one actually. Have a few others on the list in the opening post, but most of those aren't rare I reckon.. I wonder which games really are rare. I do my gameshopping pretty much in one store, and the stock of one store of course isn't representative of what's rare and common. If I venture in other stores there are usually some games to be found which I assumed would be hard to find. Saw Wario the other day for example. And then there's online.
