Patch Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 Congratulations on finding a game only you know about! I scanned a list of Saturn games just now to see if anything jumped out and nothing did. It looks like Aladdin's older, evil brother. Total guess: Grandia?
Cube Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Congratulations on finding a game only you know about! I scanned a list of Saturn games just now to see if anything jumped out and nothing did. It looks like Aladdin's older, evil brother. Total guess: Grandia? I expected it to be one of the easiest ones there. Anyway, that's incorrect. I'll accept either the American or European names for this. One of the names has a God in it, the other has the name for a place of beauty/safety in it.

Patch Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Perfect Dark Zero and Super Robot Wars are correct.
Fused King Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 What kind o' games are these.......I have no knowledge of them whatsoever.... Am I unworthy of this thread:red:
darksnowman Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 What kind o' games are these.......I have no knowledge of them whatsoever....Am I unworthy of this thread:red: Stick around and you might learn something... like the rest of us! I'll have a stab at number ten, I feel I should know it (and a few of the others) but I can't think of something with the main guy wearing goggles except for Evolution: The World of Sacred Device.
Patch Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Skull & Crossbones is correct. darkle: your guesses are brilliant - keep them coming! Fused King: I've pretty much run out of games that I have actually played. I have to resort to posting obscure titles I've heard of, but not played. It won't be much longer until I'm posting titles I've never even heard of. After that, homebrew.
darksnowman Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) Hmm, I thought number eight looked like a Quintet game... its not, however: 10. Robotrek Here's another outlandish guess: 2. Snail Maze (built in Master System game, like Alex Kidd.) Edited February 22, 2010 by darksnowman
Jonnas Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Man, I know 2. I played a similar Flash game in the past, where you had to guide the water with whatever pieces they gave you (except that one was "last as long as possible". This pic looks like it has a goal in mind) So, it may be a variation of Waterflow Challenge or Tubes because I honestly have no idea what that version may be (N-Gage, maybe?) And I'm guessing 4 is Famicom Detective Club?
STOOPIDDITTIES Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) 2. Pipe Master 5. Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters I can't think of something with the main guy wearing goggles except for Evolution: The World of Sacred Device. The Crystal Bearers wasn't that memorable then? Edited February 22, 2010 by STOOPIDDITTIES
darksnowman Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 The Crystal Bearers wasn't that memorable then? Well I was usually looking at the back of Layles head and it wasn't 16-bit. (I think I dodged that bullet.)
SPAMBOT4000 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 10: Soleil? I don't think it is but it reminds me of it and I'll kick myself if I withhold a correct guess again because I wasn't sure.
Patch Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 'Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters' and 'Robotrek' are correct. STOOPIDDITTIES is the closest so far with number 2, but I need the exact name. It's an updated version of the original game that - as Jonas points out - requires you to guide the water using parts. It has the same name as the original game. Number 4 is a famous game - I'm sure a few people here have played it on the Megadrive.
Jonnas Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 2. Pipe Mania? (Hopefully, my memory is correct on this)
Patch Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Pipe Mania is correct. Great little game. Golden Axe incorrect.
darksnowman Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I put two when I meant to put three. 3. Snail Maze
Patch Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 The first letter is correct. It's one word and is one of my most played games on the Commodore 16.
