Wesley Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 If you were a real rebel you wouldn't even care who was the Christmas number one. Just saying. Be a real G like Wes-errrr-ly.
or else you will DIE Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 i still gotta hear the muppets.
or else you will DIE Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 ok, well, words cant express what an awesome experience watching that video was
Shorty Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 It's not like it's Simon Cowell's fault, it's not him who buys the copies. Spending my hard earned money to try and beat the stupidity of the nation? I'll leave up to everyone else...
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) My money's going to the Muppets. Likewise. But I would buy the X Factor single if it means making sure that piece of shit Killing In The Name Of never gets in the charts. Edited December 8, 2009 by EEVILMURRAY
Tellyn Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 It's not like it's Simon Cowell's fault, it's not him who buys the copies. Spending my hard earned money to try and beat the stupidity of the nation? I'll leave up to everyone else... He engineered it so that the winner would hit number one at Christmas time. Winning the X Factor is pretty much synonymous with achieving the Christmas number one single nowadays.
Beast Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) MUPPETS FTW!!!!!!! I'm still can't stop laughing at Animal's part in the song. Why have they disappeared? Need another movie by them! Sorry but Muppets all the way! Edited December 8, 2009 by Animal
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Ladies and Gentlemen, I am in absolute turmoil here. The Muppets....or Rage Against The Machine. I love both but for verrrrry different reasons. Animal versus Brad Wilk? Kermit against de la Rocha? I love both.
nightwolf Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 So now I can't even get away from that crap on here, ffs. I don't careeeeee >.< I care enough to post here, but besides that.
Caris Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Rage against the machine are a embarrassment to music. Infact it's not even music it's noise.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Rage against the machine are a embarrassment to music. Infact it's not even music it's noise. You're lucky you're a Geordie and you, otherwise I'd send you to your room with nowt for tea. Why Aye, man. It's bluddy good noise, though, isn't it? I cannae understand the resentment.
Paj! Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Rage against the machine are a embarrassment to music. Infact it's not even music it's noise. I don't like the band or the music they make, but I really hate lies.
Daft Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Love RAGE. Settle For Nothing is my favourite. Nice and festive. I wanted Journey to get Xmas No.1 but I won't pass up RAGE.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 You're lucky you're a Geordie and you, otherwise I'd send you to your room with nowt for tea. And what about me HUH? You son of a bitch!? Before you do anything, I'm going to take your arms. See you at the party.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 And what about me HUH? You son of a bitch!? Before you do anything, I'm going to take your arms. See you at the party. You're not a Geordie, therefore you have no excuse. For anything. You're a lost cause, son. I'm disappointed. I thought you would be one with the RAGE? What is it you don't like about them? I can't get enough of them. So many memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats. BENNNY! SCREEEWWW YOOOUO!

It's either Muppets or Journey, both are full of win!
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) You're not a Geordie, therefore you have no excuse. For anything. You're a lost cause, son. You're damaged goods lady. I'm disappointed. I thought you would be one with the RAGE? What is it you don't like about them? They're shit. I can't get enough of them. So many memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats. Give us a list, because I don't know any of their other memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats [and am aware of it]. BENNNY! SCREEEWWW YOOOUO! I'm not interested in Saturn. I said Mars. EDIT: Just looked at that Facebook group, top post on the wall: "your song is a piece of horsepiss" Exquisite. Edited December 8, 2009 by EEVILMURRAY
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 You're tough work Eevil. I'm going to start with the obvious ones, but you must have heard of Wake Up. I love that bass line. When I listen to that song, I can't keep it out of my head. And Wilk's work on the drums is so smooth and natural. Sleep now in the Fire Morello's opening riff on the guitar that carries on throughout is sexy. I remember the first time I heard that. It was my "Welcome to Rage" song. Bullet in the Head I've jammed to this song once or twice with some old school friends. This song is brilliant to listen to and play. "Just victims of the in-house drive by... We say jump you say "how high?" " People of the Sun Probably in my top 5 Rage songs. Know Your Enemy That guitar/bass part when it kicks in. It makes me squeal like a little girl. That's brilliant. How can anyone deny that? Last one... Take The Power Back I think this is the first Rage song I ever played on the drums. It's very funky. They must have been onto something good when they made this.
Serebii Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Does anyone other than me miss the times when Christmas #1s were Christmas related?
Daft Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Rage against the machine are a embarrassment to music. What the Hell does that make X Factor then? Does anyone other than me miss the times when Christmas #1s were Christmas related? Don't let Cliff Richard hear you say that.
mcj metroid Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 where did this rage number 1 stuff come from.. Without x factor would they even make number 1 anyway? especially with that song?
Jimbob Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 And Journey is in the race for Christmas Number 1? It's either Muppets or Journey, both are full of win! I've heard X-Factor are either doing a Journey or a Rage Against the Machine number for the winner. (each finalist is given either the Journey or the Rage song, winner releases said song). If it's a Journey number, then i shall purchase the original. If it's the Rage number, then i shall purchase the original. Whichever the X-Factor pick as the winners song i shall buy the original.
