Get "Killing In The Name" and the Chart Vote for FREE!

No Credit Card required

Just got this from the facebook group - even if you have already purchased it, please do this aswell as it does count.

1. Goto http://www.whatuni.com/degrees/registrationQuestion.html?x=&y=

2. Fill out all the boxes, put any old crap, as long as the e-mail address is VALID

3. They will send you a code for 3 free downloads

4. Go to http://www.7digital.com/Search?search=killing+in+the+name&searchtype=global&submit=Search and download each DIFFERENT version of Killing In The Name at the bottom for free

ANOTHER WAY TO GET IT FOR FREE:

To begin with, please don't make multiple accounts with this, there's no reason why all 850,000 can't create one account and the charts company cant hassle us about bulk buying!

If you don't have a Credit Card and want to support Rage for free, there's still a way and I have confirmed with the Charts Company that its eligible!*

1) Go to http://www.nokiamusic.co.uk/ Download and install the player on the main page insuring you select UK when it gives you the setup options!

2) Open the program and click "Join Now", Click "Join Nokia Music", fill out the details to create the account (No credit card details are needed)

4) Go to the main Store page and to the left you will see a box that says "Redeem Pin" Click on "Continue"

5) Enter ONE random of these codes, doesn't matter which one! Each one will give you £4 free credit and that's all you need to buy all 5 versions of the song, you can get up to £16 worth if you use all the codes, but please don't as Nokia may pull it if its abused!

6) Search for: Rage Against The Machine - Killing in the name

7) Click the Orange down arrow next to each of the songs The regular versions ASWELL AS the live version (that counts too)), then click the blue tick.

Congratulations you have just contributed [=

Thanks to the others who found this method! Now lets spread the word!

*I rang The Official UK Charts Company to see if tracks bought from Nokia Ovi Player are still eligible for the UK top 40 singles chart. They confirmed that they are as long as its bought with a UK account!

If you were a real rebel you wouldn't even care who was the Christmas number one.

Just saying.

Be a real G like Wes-errrr-ly.

It's not like it's Simon Cowell's fault, it's not him who buys the copies.

Spending my hard earned money to try and beat the stupidity of the nation? I'll leave up to everyone else...

My money's going to the Muppets.

Likewise. But I would buy the X Factor single if it means making sure that piece of shit Killing In The Name Of never gets in the charts.

He engineered it so that the winner would hit number one at Christmas time. Winning the X Factor is pretty much synonymous with achieving the Christmas number one single nowadays.

MUPPETS FTW!!!!!!!

I'm still can't stop laughing at Animal's part in the song.

Why have they disappeared? Need another movie by them! Sorry but Muppets all the way!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am in absolute turmoil here. The Muppets....or Rage Against The Machine. I love both but for verrrrry different reasons.

Animal versus Brad Wilk? Kermit against de la Rocha?

I love both. :geek:

I don't like the band or the music they make, but I really hate lies.

You're not a Geordie, therefore you have no excuse. For anything. You're a lost cause, son.

I'm disappointed. I thought you would be one with the RAGE? What is it you don't like about them? I can't get enough of them. So many memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats.

BENNNY! SCREEEWWW YOOOUO!

ANIMAL!!! Hands down! Animal rules all!

And Journey is in the race for Christmas Number 1? It's either Muppets or Journey, both are full of win!

You're damaged goods lady.

They're shit.

I can't get enough of them. So many memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats.

Give us a list, because I don't know any of their other memorable songs, riffs, lyrics and beats [and am aware of it].

BENNNY! SCREEEWWW YOOOUO!

I'm not interested in Saturn. I said Mars.

EDIT: Just looked at that Facebook group, top post on the wall:

"your song is a piece of horsepiss"

Exquisite.

You're tough work Eevil. I'm going to start with the obvious ones, but you must have heard of Wake Up.

I love that bass line. When I listen to that song, I can't keep it out of my head. And Wilk's work on the drums is so smooth and natural. :)

Sleep now in the Fire

Morello's opening riff on the guitar that carries on throughout is sexy. I remember the first time I heard that. It was my "Welcome to Rage" song.

Bullet in the Head

I've jammed to this song once or twice with some old school friends. This song is brilliant to listen to and play.

"Just victims of the in-house drive by...

We say jump you say "how high?" "

People of the Sun

Probably in my top 5 Rage songs. :)

Know Your Enemy

That guitar/bass part when it kicks in. It makes me squeal like a little girl. That's brilliant. How can anyone deny that?

Last one...

Take The Power Back

I think this is the first Rage song I ever played on the drums. It's very funky. They must have been onto something good when they made this.

Does anyone other than me miss the times when Christmas #1s were Christmas related?

What the Hell does that make X Factor then?

Don't let Cliff Richard hear you say that.

I've heard X-Factor are either doing a Journey or a Rage Against the Machine number for the winner. (each finalist is given either the Journey or the Rage song, winner releases said song).

If it's a Journey number, then i shall purchase the original. If it's the Rage number, then i shall purchase the original. Whichever the X-Factor pick as the winners song i shall buy the original.
