Caris Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 The "post your desktop thread" has been pretty dead for a while now so I'm going to try and revive that by having a monthly desktop thread like I have seen on many other forums. I think it will give people more reason to post if it's monthly than just when ever they can be bothered. So, post away!
SPAMBOT4000 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Ah wow never knew you could display desktop icons with the info like that! Very helpful, just worked out how to do it How do you get the temp displayed at the top also? Great pic by the way, who is that?
Caris Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 It's a program called SMC fan control, the girl is Cheryl Cole.
Platty Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 (edited) Just recently changed to this oldie... Edited October 10, 2009 by Platty
Wesley Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) I know what you're thinking: How can I concentrate on work with such a distracting background. Also, I like your setup Caris. Apart from the woman that is so airbrushed she looks like a painting. An ugly painting. Edited October 11, 2009 by Wesley
Noodleman Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I have the background change every 10 minutes though from photos I took when I went travelling and yes my monitor is so shit it can only cope with 1024 x 768
Emasher Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I didn't bother including a screenshot of the 2nd monitor, since its the same, for the moment anyway.
Coolness Bears Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I change my wallpaper constantly but here it is at the moment.
jayseven Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I never change my anything, but one time Shorty edited the regular bg image into ^that^ there, the silly slyster!
nightwolf Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 It doesn't change much, but the new monitor makes everything look shinier.
Guest Stefkov Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Changed mine yesterday to reflect what my thoughts are at the moment.
Wesley Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 That is very nice... also makes me look forward to getting a hold of Windows 7. I like that icon thing.. bar.. task. Thing.
Shorty Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 One of the only problems with the super shiny Windows 7 taskbar is you never want to put programs on it that have really crappy icons
