Have you had one?

Was a few year ago and i was comming home from school on ym bike, i didnt look and enarly got hit by a car but a "bully" forms chool held me back and saved my life.

I dont care what people say but i saw my life flash before ym eyes. Family.Freinds.Homes.PwerRangers. things which have been a big part of my life.

It was horrible, has anyone else been in a situation like this?

Same thing happened to me Caris, just I didn't get pulled back by a bully. Though I did look before crossing (there was a bus blocking my view so I carefully crossed). Of course some jerk in a red sports car had to come driving my way at full speed and not stopping at the crossroads. Good thing only my bike got messed up; I was just lucky to have been careful when crossing or else it would've been a lot worse. No thing like my life flashing before my eyes though. Just cried my eyes out when I nearly got home because I realized I could've been dead or something.

Jerk didn't even stop when he hit me either...

Oh I've had a couple, nothing that gets my life to flash before my eyes though. Infact I almost died yesterday. I fell off my bike when crossing the icy road and hit my head. Good job that cars go slow when roads are icy, otherwise I might have got much worse injuries.

Also, I saw my friend get hit by a car. Sports car going miles over the speed limit, knocked him off his bike, and his head hit the window, smashing it as he bounced off, then landed on the road. He managed to get up, his entire forehead covered in glass and blood, limped to the driver, apologised, and collapsed. Was quite a horrific sight.

I nearly fell of a cliff down in ye olde cornwall, i slipped but fortunatly my dad grabbed me before i made it off the edge. You feel really wierd after you have a "Near Death Exprience" your stomach feels kinda bouncy. Think is when i told me mum she shouted at me :/

Apparently i got pulled away from getting hit by a bus in Rome.

I was like "what the fuck, why did you just pull me then"

"You were going to walk into a bus!"

"Really?"

I had no idea, and I dont really know to this day how close i came.

I nearly got hit by a car in rome also, didnt stop at the zebra crossing...........well i wasnt too suprised as we got warned that they drive like lunatics.

I felt like dying when I was suddenly caught up in my first true-blue mosh pit at the Bloodhound Gang gig. I thought I was going to die of heat.

On a more serious note, back when I was living in brazil, notorious for its huge thunderstorms, one was brewing and we had to pull out all electrical appliances. I walked towards our computer and about two metres away I smelled something weird then BANG! lightning struck down straight into my poor compy, frying its modem :( I smelled ozone for days.

Ah, had a friend in a Bloodhound gang moshpit, those things sound amazing...

Near death experience when i was 4: Dad thought it'd be a gr8 idea to go sledding down a hill once when we was on holiday, one side was a hill, the other side a fucking cliff!

He let go by accident im still in my sled, go towards the cliff and a rock pointing out of the ground stops me straight at the edge, definitly gotta be the funnest way to die, except having an epileptic fit while playing on a dance machine..

Let's see now, I think it was my 25th birthday and I went a bit overboard on the celebrations and managed to OD on drink and drugs, I don't remember anything about it, but apparently my heart stopped and I stopped breathing, lips went blue and everything, but a mate did a bit of CPR on me and jump started me, after that spent the rest of the day being walked up and down the road to keep the motor running, so to speak.

But like I said, I don't actually remember any of it.

I flciked a 2p in the air once looked up at it and it landed in my throat, i had to cough REALLY hard to get it out, i didnt see my life flash before my eyes but i felt all the life leaving myself

Are you trying to emulate the guy in your avatar then?

In my opinion, I think it's stupid when people say that they've "died" when their heart stopped and they stopped breathing- surely if you're dead, that means that you can't be brought back.

But anyway, I've never had anything close to a near death experience- I've never even broken a bone or lost concioussness(sp?).

How would you define death then?

Brain death? Peoples bodies can be kept alive after that happens, and even come back from it on rare occasions.

It's a hard thing to define accurately.

they did it so they could get home to watch the cartons
