Played the demo yesterday (burned it on a disc) and it was what I had come to expect, funny and fun to play.

Keep it mind this is only the first 10 minutes of the game so nothing really epic is shown so don´t expect the demo to come full force on you but, it gives you a nice glimpse of what it is.

Although, I hope this is only because this is a demo played on a burned disc but the audio lagged a bit and some of the enemies had a tendency of turning purple-ish when I used the guitar attack and followed it up with a normal attack.

Played the demo a (few too many times) myself and haven't noticed any lag in the audio. There are times were it seems less pronounced, but that is usually if I rotate the camera to a front view so it could be intentional. I also noticed that certain sound clips are seemingly only supposed to kick in a specific times. Also didn't notice any lag in the cutscenes.

As for the purple-ish enemies. That appears to be a result of them getting shocked by Clemantine, if you do the fire attack it doesn't appear to happen. Again, it seems intentional, but whether it is more noticeable as a result of the disc burn I can't say.

The audio lagged for me during videos, mostly during the beginning.

The purple thing could be a part of it all but it looked kinda like it was not supposed to be there too me.

I'm thinking it might be funnier if the swear words are bleeped.

Loved the demo. The gameplay was a tad shallow but it more than made up for it with regards to humour.

Downloaded the demo and loved it. Just a great laugh. Was unsure how it'd work out prior to playing the demo but I have to say I'd be happy to purchase it now based on what I've played.

Some of the gameplay clips it shows at the end of the game look awesome. Like the group of followers who go with Riggs headbanging as they walk around. :D So yeh, it's now definitely something I'm going to be playing. And the good thing is that it's only 2 weeks away.

You mean they managed to make Jack Black funny?

Hell has just frozen.

Am I the only one not THAT impressed? I mean, it got better as it went along. But it's pretty button bashy; and I didn't think the script was impressive in the slightest and thought Jack Black was mildly irritating. I liked the variety in the game play though. Prob pick it up CHEAP

Nah I thought it was shit.

A couple or reviews have come and they are mostly all positive, except for Destructoid which was very negative of it.

Will not really affect my decision to pick it up at launch though.

When that Black Sabbath riff kicked in at the start I knew I had to have it. Personally I like beat em ups so a metal version of Golden Axe should keep me entertained.

The thing that is now putting me off is the amount of posts elsewhere that indicate that the game is far too short.

Granted, some may be rushing through it, but seeing completion times in the range of 6-10 hours is not too encouraging (even the side quests don't seem to add much time to that), and I was hoping for something a little longer lasting, especially with such an expansive world on offer. I can't see the multiplayer having much longevity either.

It's beginning to look like a case of a missed opportunity.
