flameboy Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 The new 8GB is £189, not £210. £209.99 on amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Apple-iPod-touch-Generation/dp/B0040GIZTI/ref=dp_ob_title_ce but yeah did just check play and was only £189.99 so what do I go for last gen and more storage...or less storage and better display and faster processor...I should point out likely won't be till January I buy it lol
Mr_Odwin Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Current gen. A most heartfelt recommendation from someone with a two year old iPod touch that is starting to feel dated. £189 direct from apple store.

That Guy Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Current gen. A most heartfelt recommendation from someone with a two year old iPod touch that is starting to feel dated. £189 direct from apple store. Agreed. The display alone is worth it.
Happenstance Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Monkey Island 2 is currently 59p on the app store if anyones interested
Happenstance Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Secret of Monkey Island is now also 59p
McPhee Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) Just picked up the iPad versions of both. £2.99 ain't too bad. Grabbed Slice It! (ingenious), Splashtop (OK) and Angry Birds at the same time. Tried out this site after hearing good reports and it seems it works; itunescodes.co.uk I've now got £75 worth of credit (5x£15 vouchers for £37.50) sitting in my account. Will Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Tried out this site after hearing good reports and it seems it works; itunescodes.co.uk I've now got £75 worth of credit (5x£15 vouchers for £37.50) sitting in my account. Awesome, if you're happy with the service I'm definitely going to get myself a decent amounts worth of codes tonight.
McPhee Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I've had no trouble with the codes and delivery was fast enough (just over 24 hours). The Jailbreak is out for iPhone 3G and below Got multitasking, wallpapers, battery percentage, MyWi and SBSettings back. Well happy.
Mike Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Is anyone here playing Pocket Frogs? I'm totally addicted to that at the moment..
Shorty Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 The Jailbreak is out for iPhone 3G and below Got multitasking, wallpapers, battery percentage, MyWi and SBSettings back. Well happy. Hasn't battery percentage always been an option in the settings?
Charlie Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Not for regular 3G phones. Does anyone elses toggle for the battery percentage on the iPhone 4 not work/doesn't do anything?
McPhee Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 New JB bored my phone when I was away in London. Ended up picking up a MiFi for the iPad and I think my Jailbreaking days are now over
Mike Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Peggle Nights is finally available as an in-App purchase for £1.79!
Will Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 FIFA 11 is £2.99 at the moment and is a great example of just what the iPhone can manage. I'm very very impressed by it.
tapedeck Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 FIFA 11 is £2.99 at the moment and is a great example of just what the iPhone can manage. I'm very very impressed by it. I agree. Although it runs superbly on my iphone4 but...on the iPad it's horrendously slow and almost unplayable.
tapedeck Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Pes 2011 is out and is just as good as FIFA 11. Shame there is only one stadium and no commentary but the gameplay and controls trump FIFA (barely). Glad I got it for the champions league mode and the different passing game it has over FIFA.
Dog-amoto Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Has anybody got Cut The Rope? It's one of those stupidly addictive games like Angry Birds. It's 59p. Do eet!!
McPhee Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Good game. Found it a bit easy up to Gift Box, Level 15 though. I'm now stuck solid. I know what I have to do, but it's proving to be hard to do it.
Daft Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 The 'Instagram' app is awesome and free. It's like Twitter for photos. I'm not sure If I'd use it instead of Twitter but it searches for users through the phone which is always ace. The photo filters are also pretty cool.
Dog-amoto Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) Yeah! ChuChu Rocket out now on the app store!! £2.99 though :/ but with an online mode EDIT. Sorry, I thought it was online but the WiFi is only for local multiplayer. What the...? Edited October 31, 2010 by Dog-amoto
Ronnie Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Galaxy on Fire 2 is AMAZING. Like a fully featured PC space sim.
