Domstercool Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Cool, I'm all up for playing some crazy multiplayer in that
Shorty Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 There is no emoticon in our repertoire violent enough to convey my reaction to this picture.
gaggle64 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 There is no emoticon in our repertoire violent enough to convey my reaction to this picture. In a good or bad way?
ViPeR Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) She looks like the girl from Sin City. Edited December 8, 2009 by ViPeR
ViPeR Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Weird how these screens are coming now...i'm praying for a release this year. Seriously. Praying.
Shorty Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 She looks like the girl from Sin City. I think your pre-edit comparison was more accurate!
ViPeR Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I think your pre-edit comparison was more accurate! Haha I didn't think anyone saw that. Vela from JFG? Nah I googled her and i'm not so sure.
McPhee Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 They mustn't! I always thought that the President in PD looked just like TJ's Dad from Smart Guy! Picture as proof! Looks like a black Downey Jr to me. As in the Iron Man RDJ, not the Tropic Thunder one. He's too hairy in Tropic Thunder for that comparison.

Solo Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Those trophies/achievements look a little lame, I was hoping for something more challenging.
Retro_Link Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 You so post your 'New and Old screens' the wrong way round!
ViPeR Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 You'd get 80% of those achievements just playing through on Special Agent. Not impressed. Though I just want the game anyway so...February then?
S.C.G Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I still don't care about Joanna's makeover that much, yeah so she doesn't look as people thought she might but... at least she looks like less of a man now like she did in some parts of the N64 original... [/truth] Plus the rest of the game is looking damn fine, I can't wait to play through it again.
LegoMan1031 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Yeah them achievements don't look like anything special. Oh well it's the game i'm looking forward to most playing again! Also i'm really looking forward to how the multiplayer works out now with it being online! I played many hours of split screen multi when i was younger with friends! I seem to remember it having proper recording stats and you had different ranks and such like! For a game of it's time, it had alot of depth with things like that.
Shorty Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I think the achieveys look pretty decent for an arcade game. I like the sound of Paci-Fist and beating all the challenges. Although... I don't actually even remember the challenges, were they just combat simulator battles?

I don't actually even remember the challenges, were they just combat simulator battles? Yeh the challenges were pretty damn hard near the end. I 'cheated' to do the last few. There was a glitch but I can't remember how it worked now. Looking forward to doing them fairly this time around. I think there was one with Darksims who were also Elvis. It was so unfair you'd literally respawn and get Farsighted through a wall.
Shorty Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Ahaha, yeah that rings a bell now you mention it v_v
ViPeR Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Is anyone else curious how this will feel with Dual Analogue? As awesome as the game is the controls were stiff because it only had the 64 controller to use. I'm just wondering if the aiming/turning sensitivity is going to be changed at all.
Shorty Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I thought the controls were awesome, back in the day Using the c-left and c-right buttons to strafe for speed runs because strafing was slightly faster than running straight. I really got used to it. In fact it's a little bit of a worry that switching it to conventional dual analogue controls might take away some of the charm.
S.C.G Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Last screenshot until the new year. Old New Wow... the buildings look like... buildings now :p c'mon... anyone who's played the original knows what I'm talking about, the distant buildings looked like a mess even back in the day, so it's good to see the clear visual improvements from the very start.
