Posted September 25, 2016 Not sure if anybody has mentioned it yet, but 'Chase: Cold Case' is coming to the EU e-shop on October 13th. It's a visual mystery novel game in the same mould as 'Hotel Dusk' & 'Another Code' and is produced by a team made up of former Cing developers. It only came out in Japan in May so I'm surprised we're getting a translation so soon, definitely one of the games I'm most looking forward to for the rest of the year. Hmm.. not sure whether to get Super Ghouls & Ghosts on 3DS or the cheaper Wii U VC version. I reckon portability may win as I do actually own it on the original Wii but it won't play through component on my TV (and as such I've never played through it ) I would say it's worth getting the cheaper Wii U Version, especially if you didn't get to play it on the Wii as I'm sure you'll be pleased with the clarity in this version. Besides, anything has got to be better than not being able to play it at all! I forgot about those dark days on the Wii VC where certain games just would not run on component on certain TV's... I downloaded it with a My Nintendo discount, for 4.80. It's good, the story is compelling, but the main character treats his investigative aide like shit, got a bit in the way of the story. It's short, I finished it with all to see in 2 1/4 hours. And there's no looking around and walking about the place, and very little choice of narrative direction. Everything is stationary. It plays like an interactive book rather than the sublime Hotel Dusk. With all the faults, it certainly is no Hotel Dusk, it's still worth a look, but don't expect something of a similar ilk.
